SDCC 12 Exclusive Unpainted Pink Wooper Looper by Gary Ham

In Tuesday’s massive Wooper Looper post The Blot mentioned Gary Ham would be having a second SDCC exclusive colorway of his popular axolotl vinyl figure, but there was no pic! Now that San Diego Comic-Con 2012 has official started, that can be remedied. Here’s your first look at the SDCC 2012 Exclusive Unpainted Pink Wooper Looper vinyl figure courtesy of Gary's Instgram account. He looks pretty good in pink soft Japanese vinyl, don’t you think? My only problem now is deciding which colorway to get…they both look pretty awesome!

The San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive Unpainted Pink Wooper Looper stands 5.25” tall, comes bagged with a header card, and can be purchased at Gary Ham’s SDCC booth #4836 for $50 each.

SDCC 12 Exclusive Street Fighter x Sanrio Hello Kitty Chun Li Plush

Toynami is launching a new line of Street Fighter x Sanrio plush figures, and is kicking this series off with a very special San Diego Comic-Con 2012 release! The limited edition Hello Kitty Chun Li plush figure is a unique mash up of Sanrio’s popular cat dressed in Street Fighter’s Chun Li costume from Street Fighter Alpha.

SDCC 12 Exclusive ParaNorman Action Figures by Huckleberry

Huckleberry Toys is kicking off its all new line of ParaNorman action figures (based on the soon to be released stop-motion animated feature film of the same name) with four San Diego Comic-Con 2012 exclusive variant figures. The toy line features all of the core characters from the film and a number of spooky zombies. The four limited edition ParaNorman SDCC exclusives are Variant Norman with Glow-in-the-Dark hand, Variant Norman in Pajamas, Glow-in-the-Dark Zombie Judge Hopkins and Glow-in-the-Dark Zombie Lemuel Spalding. Each figure will retail for $20 or you can buy the entire four figure for just $60 at the Huckleberry Toys SDCC booth #3449.

Also, be sure to join the cast of ParaNorman at 10:45am on Friday, July 13, in Hall H for a behind the scenes look at the new film. The creators will then be at the Huckleberry booth at 3:30pm for a signing! A limited number of wristbands for the signing will be available for those who purchase sets of ParaNorman figures before Friday. All remaining wristbands will be handed out at some point Friday mid-morning on a first come, first serve basis.

ParaNorman is scheduled to premiere in theaters on August 17, 2012.

SDCC 12 Exclusive Disney’s Frankenweenie Sparky-Saurus Vinyl Figure by Funko

Disney and Funko have teamed up once again to produce a really slick looking vinyl figure based on one of the characters from Disney’s highly anticipated new film, Frankenweenie directed by Tim Burton! The San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive Sparky-Saurus vinyl figure depicts young Victor’s beloved pet dog turned science experiment. Detailed in black, grey and white to reflect the film’s animation, Sparky-Saurus is attached to a figural base that looks like the homemade movie set Victor constructs in the film.

Donate to Cancer Research in Honor of a Fellow Toy Collector

The Blot was saddened to learn a fellow toy collector had lost his battle with cancer earlier this week. Andy Larkins, brother to my Twitter buddy Steve Larkins, was a huge toy and comic book fan (Superman and Spider-Man were his favorites) and was taken from his family Tuesday morning at the age of 49. A couple of Andy’s good friends have set up two charity sites raising money for cancer research, and Steve asked if I would help spread the word about the two websites. How could I say no to that! What’s really cool about these sites is the British government will match up to 25% of any donation! On top of that, Andy’s former employer will also match all donations! SDCC 12 Exclusive Black & Gold Rub Greasebat Vinyl Figure

Every time The Blot buys a Real Fighting Greasebat I say it’s going to be my last one…then Jeff Lamm and Monster Worship release another epic colorway! I just can’t say no to this awesome figure. For San Diego Comic-Con 2012, Jeff and Monster Worship are releasing the very unique Black and Gold Rub Greasebat, which looks almost like a real weathered golden idol from ancient times! When I first saw this figure I thought it was made of black vinyl with a gold rub, but I now know it’s actually made of white soft Japanese vinyl with a black and gold rub giving it that aged look.

Thanks to our friends at Just Another Funko Observer, we have our first look at Funko’s San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive Uglydoll Pop! vinyl figures! There are four figures in all, with each Uglydoll Pop! released in a unique SDCC exclusive colorway: a black Wage, a red Ninja Batty Shogun, a purple Ox and a white Ice-Bat.
