Crooks & Castles x H-Town Sneaker Summit Texas Baseball T-Shirt Collection

Last weekend The Blot was able to attend one of my favorite local events, the bi-annual H-Town Sneaker Summit where sneaker enthusiasts and indie clothing brands from around the country come together to celebrate the scene. While I’m not that much of a sneakerhead, I love going to meet up and coming brands (many of which have been featured here on The Blot Says...). For the past few years legendary streetwear brand Crooks & Castles have been in attendance, and this year they brought with them two epic exclusive Texas themed t-shirts and tank tops.

First up is the “Trill in Paradise” t-shirt, which features the classic Texas Rangers logo and font. On its back is a tribute to Chris “Lewds” Natalio, a member of the Crooks & Castles family who tragically passed away earlier this year. The second shirt, and my personal favorite, is the Crooks & Castles x H-Town Sneaker Summit 2012 t-shirt which combines the Crooks & Castles logo with the Houston Astros’ old school logo.

Both shirts were sold in honor of Lewds, with all proceeds going to his family. I, of course, couldn’t pass up an opportunity to support such a worthwhile cause and score such a killer t-shirt in the process. I haven’t heard if either of these sold out or will be showing up on the Crooks & Castles online store, but if they do I highly recommend picking one or both of them up!

Shadow-lings Custom 4” Munnys by Shadoe Delgado

Meet San Francisco artist Shadoe Delgado and his new line of custom Munnys The Shadow-lings!  Do these look sick or what?!? The design of Shadoe’s Shadow-lings custom series comes from his ceramic work, which focuses on the ideas of shadow, ego, and personae. The newest Shadow-ling is the 4” Miniboss (seen above), which includes some crazy looking antlers and a pretty stunning mask made with crackle paste.

So far Shadoe has created 5 one of a kind Shadow-lings, all of which are available for purchase in his online store. Each 4” custom Munny retails for just $60 and includes the incredibly detailed masks you see here. After seeing these bad boys, The Blot’s really excited to see what Shadoe is working on next!

“Splatter Cats” Custom 8” Tuttz by The Jelly Empire

Selina Briggs of The Jelly Empire has teamed up once again with END of Argonaut Resins for a very exciting release! The “Splatter Cats” line of custom 8” Tuttz resin figures features a wide variety of fluorescent colored figures with Selina’s signature splatter paint style. The Blot loves the vibrant colors of these Tuttz, which will definitely help them stand out in anyone’s collection. Selina has refined the splatter effect through her many Jellybot releases, and I think this style really translates well to the Tuttz platform.

Ten “Splatter Cats” will go on sale at The Jelly Empire’s online store this Saturday, August 4th, at 6pm EST. But good luck trying to catch one of these wild felines, toys seem to disappear from Selina’s webstore almost as quickly as they appear!
