Spacelab9, a new record label imprint, is kicking off its new line of pop culture inspired deluxe edition vinyl records with two epic television soundtracks! First up is the official score to AMC’s legendary series Breaking Bad. This marks the first time that the Breaking Bad soundtrack will be offered on vinyl, and the 2 disc set features nearly one hour of original music composed by Dave Porter, including the now-iconic “Breaking Bad Main Title Theme”.
Spacelab9’s second release is the official sound track of AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead! This is also the vinyl debut of The Walking Dead Soundtrack Vol. 1, and featuring tracks from composer Bear McCreary and artists Jamie N. Commons, Voxhaul Broadcast, Baby Bee, Fink, Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene) and Emily Kinney (Beth Greene) as well as multiplatinum Icelandic artists Of Monsters and Men. Aren’t these picture discs a thing of beauty!?! The Blot really loves this mash-up of music, TV and collectible vinyl records.
Both limited edition television soundtrack picture disc LPs will be available exclusively from Hot Topic (while supplies last). The Breaking Bad picture disc LP goes on sale November 26th, while The Walking Dead picture disc LP goes on sale January 24th.
