Here’s another reason The Blot is extremely bummed I won’t be attending the inaugural MondoCon in Austin this weekend. Mondo is teaming up with Industry Print Shop to produce four MondoCon 2014 exclusive prints! What makes it even cooler is that Industry Print Shop will be live screen printing these four limited edition posters live at their MondoCon booth (two on Saturday, two on Sunday). The first print is “First Hellboy” by Mike Mignola, which features Mignola’s original drawing of his signature creation. The Blot is a huge Hellboy fan and this print is seriously awesome!
“First Hellboy” by Mike Mignola is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print. There are two colorways of this print, Version A and Version B, and both editions have limited edition run sizes of 175 pieces and retail for just $40. Mike Mignola will be in attendance at MondoCon 2014, so be sure to get your prints signed by him while you’re at the show.
All four MondoCon 2014 Exclusive Screen Prints will be live printed by Industry Print Show are currently available for pre-order at the Mondo online store. These prints are only available for pick up at the convention so do not buy one if you’re not attending the show the day your particular print is being released. FYI - “First Hellboy” is being released on Saturday at MondoCon.
