Every week now Funko seems to be unveiling a new Hikari colorway! This week’s release is the beautiful “Gamma Blue” Astro Boy Hikari. Osamu Tezuka's iconic Astro Boy (or Mighty Atom as he was originally named) is one of The Blot’s favorite Hikari sculpts, and this colorway does a great job spotlighting the figure. The “Gamma Blue” colorway features a cool blue-grey metallic paint job and is limited to just 600 pieces.
The “Gamma Blue” Astro Boy Hikari vinyl figure stands 6” tall, includes a hand numbered card to prove authenticity and rarity, and comes packaged in a full colored window box for easy display. While this limited edition figure is not scheduled to hit store shelves until February 2015, you can pre-order one now from Entertainment Earth for $49.99 here.
