Get excited He-Man fans! Super7 has announced the official release of their hotly anticipated fully painted (in color this time) Masters of the Universe Retro Action Figures!!! After two super limited convention exclusive releases, the MOTU Retro Action Figure toy line is finally getting a wider release that all of us will have an opportunity to purchase. Not only that, but each figure’s backing card features full color artwork by one of The Blot’s favorite artists, Jason Edmiston!
The Masters of the Universe Retro Action Figure Series 1 includes He-Man, Skeletor, Mer-Man and Beastman. Each figure stands 3.75" tall, includes a character specific weapon accessory and comes packaged on a full color blister card. Interestingly enough, each character was hand-sculpted by the head of the Kenner sculpting department from the 1970s-1980s to match the feel of action figures from that golden age of toys. All four figures are currently available for pre-order at the Super7 online store for $14.99 each or $59.96 as a full four piece set.
