In partnership with Kodansha Comics, later today Mondo will release two incredible posters for the classic Kodansha manga Ghost in the Shell by Becky Cloonan! This is perfect timing since the Scarlett Johansson starring live action Ghost in the Shell motion picture will premiere later this month. As Mondo explained, “Becky’s rendering of Public Security Section 9 member Major Motoko Kusanagi is gorgeous and we couldn’t be more proud of the end result.”
Ghost in the Shell by Becky Cloonan is an 18”x24” signed and numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 275 pieces and will retail for $45, while the Glow in the Dark Variant is limited to 150 pieces and will retail for $65. Both versions go on sale at a random time today, Tuesday, March 14th, at the Mondo online store.
