Larry Hama: A Real American Creator 4” Action Figure Kickstarter Campaign

Larry Hama: A Real American Creator 4” Action Figure Kickstarter Campaign by Fresh Monkey Fiction

Growing up The Blot was a HUGE G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero fan. I ate up everything related to the franchise, from the cartoons and the 3.75” action figures to the Marvel comics books. While the toys were fantastic and the cartoon was mindless fun, it was the comic book series, under the direction of writer Larry Hama, that brought these characters to life. So I was beyond thrilled to learn that Fresh Monkey Fiction has launched a Kickstarter campaign to produce a 4” action of the legendary G.I. Joe comic book creator!

Here’s Fresh Monkey Fiction’s official explanation for the Kickstarter campaign: Larry Hama has been many things: a storyteller, illustrator, rock musician, storyboard artist, actor, and the creative force behind the 1980s action figure line, G.I. Joe. One thing that Larry has never been… an action figure. Fresh Monkey Fiction is going to change that with the limited edition Larry Hama action figure!

The Larry Hama 4” action figure features an original Hama head sculpt by Nick Whitmore and original blister card artwork by Adam Riches. This figure is perfectly suited for adventures at a convention, on a stage, or even tackling the might of a deadline. For just $25 you can add a carded Larry Hama action figure to your collection. For just a little more ($41) you can get the deluxe Larry Hama figure, which includes the Top Secret accessory and a Larry Hama metal trading card (both exclusive to this Kickstarter campaign).

The Larry Hama: A Real American Creator 4” Action Figure Kickstarter Campaign has already been funded, but there’s still plenty of time to reserve your figure or any of the other great reward levels. Head over to Kickstarter now to find out more about this exciting project that honors the man who made action figures more than just articulated plastic, and have him personally hang out you’re your collections, old and new. But don’t delay, the campaign will end on Monday, March 27th.
