RJ-K5 Astrofresh Basketball Droyds by JK5

RJ-K5 Astrofresh Basketball Droyds by JK5

Now this is the kind of release that reminds me why I fell in love with designer art toys in the first place! JK5’s RJ-K5 Astrofresh Basketball Droyds combine three of my favorite things (street art, basketball and Star Wars) in a fresh new way. I have to give Kidrobot props with this one. They’ve finally gone back to their roots and released a true urban art toy with an old school feel.

RJ-K5 Astrofresh Basketball Droyds by JK5 - Galactic Game Ball Colorway

This is not the Droyd you are looking for. Joining two of the best things on earth, New York based Flowbot artist JK5 blends his passion for hoops and a certain George Lucas series to create the RJ-K5 Astrofresh Basketball Droyds. Available in 2 editions: the regulation orange colored Galactic Game Ball and the retro red, white, and blue Hyperspace All-Star, these figures are crafted of resin and stand 8.5 inches tall.

RJ-K5 Astrofresh Basketball Droyds by JK5 - Hyperspace All-Star Colorway

The Rj-K5 Astrofresh Basketball Droyds will retail for $100 each and are scheduled to land at all Kidrobot retail locations, Kidrobot.com and select retails worldwide on March 8th. Only a perfect number of each colorway has been produced (327 to be exact), so make sure you act fast. May The Ball Be With You!

Doktor A x Funky Peanut Rupture Funky Sleeves Mobile Device Covers

Doktor A x Funky Peanut Rupture Funky Sleeves with Rupture Android Vinyl Figure

The Blot just found out about a really cool release that I know readers of TheBlotSays.com will really like! UK company Funky Peanut has teamed up with Doktor A to release a line of limited edition Funky Sleeves featuring Dok’s signature Rupture design. Funky Sleeves are stylish covers to protect your mobile devices, including iPads, Kindles, Android tablets, Macbook Pros and other laptops.

Doktor A x Funky Peanut Rupture Funky Sleeves with Rupture Android Vinyl Figure

The extremely popular and abundantly toothy Rupture character has assaulted the art toy world for several years, and now he’s taking on the world of electronics! Doktor A has updated his Rupture design especially for Funky Peanut’s inaugural release by giving “it a little more attitude than the previous versions.” Funky Sleeves will initially be available in three sizes to suit a wide range of mobile devices and retail for between £18.99-27.99 each (with Funky Peanut offering free shipping worldwide!)

Doktor A x Funky Peanut Rupture Funky Sleeves with Rupture Android Vinyl Figure

The Funky Sleeves are manufactured from high quality 5mm neoprene with a black super soft fleece lining. The all black military grade zipper, black metal pulls and black trim perfectly complement the Rupture design. Each Rupture Funky Sleeves size has a limited edition run size of 500 pieces, and can be purchased directly from Funky Peanut’s online store or from Doktor A via his online store.

NBA Pop! Series 1 Concept Artwork by Funko

NBA Pop! Vinyl Figures by Funko - Lebron James, Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Pau Gasol, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Love, Lamarcus Aldridge & Derrick Rose

Funko has teamed with MINDstyle (yes, that MINDstyle) to produce a line of officially licensed NBA Pop! vinyl figures. Series 1 includes Lebron James, Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Pau Gasol, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Love, Lamarcus Aldridge and the reigning MVP, Derrick Rose. While these figures look awesome, The Blot has just one question…where’s the beef? As in where’s Kobe Bryant!?! Pau’s great, but the Lakers fan in me needs a Kobe Pop! vinyl figure immediately. I guess I'll just have to wait until Series 2.

NBA Pop! Vinyl Figures by Funko - Jeremy Lin

As a University of Texas alum, I also think it’s pretty cool to see two fellow longhorns included in this release, Kevin Durant and Lamarcus Aldridge. I guess they can’t say we’re just a football school anymore! Funko also leaked the preliminary artwork for a future Jeremy Lin NBA Pop! vinyl figure. This would make a pretty sweet New York Comic-Con 2012 exclusive wouldn’t it?

NBA Pop! Series 1 will begin shipping in late April to ensure they reach you in time to cheer on your favorite team during the playoffs!

Little Axe Mars Slayer Resin Figure by Erick Scarecrow

ESC Toy - Little Axe Mars Slayer Resin Figure by Erick Scarecrow

Tomorrow, ESC Toy is releasing the newest colorway of what has quickly become my favorite Erick Scarecrow resin figure, Little Axe! Little Axe Mars Slayer is actually a two figure set, which includes Little Axe in clear blue resin with metallic paints and a lopped off wolf head. There are so many great details to this figure and the metallic paint really makes Little Axe shine.

Little Axe Mars Slayer has a limited edition run size of 12 pieces and will retail for $250 each. Pick one up at ESC Toy’s online store tomorrow, February 29th, at 11am EST.

Sleepy Dan Series 1 Tick Tock Wall Clocks

Sleepy Dan Series 1 Tick Tock Wall Clocks - “Sleep Attack” & “Yawn”

This week Sleepy Dan released a new line of designer wall clocks. The Blot definitely did not see this one coming, but it makes perfect sense! When you’re as sleepy as Sleepy Dan you need a little help getting up in the morning. This inaugural release of Sleepy Dan’s Tick Tock Wall Clocks includes two designs, the classic “Sleep Attack” design and Dan’s newest design “Yawn.”

If you're someone always keepin an eye on the clock, it's time to make the clock on the wall a little more fun! Each Sleepy Dan wall clock measures 9” in diameter and 1.5” in depth, and runs on a single AA battery. Pick one up from the Sleepy Dan online store for just $15.

The Squonk Resin Figure by Motorbot

The Squonk Resin Figure by Motorbot - Black, Jade, Root Beer, Slime, Cream Soda & Red

Motorbot is seriously a resin slinging machine! He is constantly creating new, highly detailed monsters from his secret lair somewhere in north Texas. His newest monster is the Squonk, the first in a new series of fearsome critters. It's said that the Squonk is the saddest creature on earth. He's so hideous that no one could love him. And don’t even try to capture one…many have trapped one in a sack only to feel the sack lighten as they walk off with their prize. When they check the sack they find that the Squonk has dissolved into tears.

There are currently 6 colorways of this cute, yet hideous 4.5” tall solid resin figure: Black, Jade, Root Beer, Slime, Cream Soda and Red. Some are tints and some are opaque, some have glitter while others confetti. All Squonks, however, have 2 points of articulation and retail for just $40 at the Deadbear Studios online store. Get one now while you still can!

Mad Men Season 5 Poster

Mad Men Season 5 One Sheet Television Poster

We’re still a month away until the return of Mad Men to AMC and The Blot can’t wait! Surprisingly, I really haven’t heard much internet chatter on the show’s imminent return and AMC hasn’t put out near the media barrage I expected for one of Television’s most critically acclaimed shows. Could it be that the show’s one and a half year hiatus has finally caught up to it? I for one am still intrigued to see where life has taken Don, Betty, Joan, Peggy and the rest of the crazy cast of characters at the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce ad agency. In the meantime, check out this interesting new one sheet television poster for Mad Men Season 5. I guess we can assume this means Don’s mind is still in the gutter.

Mad Men Season 5 premieres on Sunday, March 25th, at 9/8c on AMC.

First Look: The Amazing Spider-Man Movie Minimates

The Amazing Spider-Man Movie Minimates Series - Spider-Man & The Lizard

The last big reveal from Toy Fair 2012 that I wanted to make sure I covered here on The Blot Says… was this awesome series of The Amazing Spider-Man Minimates from Diamond Select Toys. There is no doubt in my mind that The Amazing Spider-Man is going to be a huge blockbuster this summer, and you know both kids and adults are going to go crazy for all the merchandise released to tie-in with the film.

The Amazing Spider-Man Movie Minimates Series - Spider-Man, Peter Parker with Skateboard, Mystery Criminal, Dr. Curt Connors, Uncle Ben, Police Officer, Aunt May, Captain George Stacy & Gwin Stacy

The Amazing Spider-Man Movie Minimates Series will consist of five 2 packs: Battle Damage Spider-Man & The Lizard, Spider-Man & Peter Parker (with Skateboard), a Mystery Criminal & Dr. Curt Connors, Uncle Ben & a Police Officer (with Aunt May as the chase variant), and Captain George Stacy & Gwen Stacy. Between this release and The Avengers Movie Minimates Series, Marvel is releasing some seriously awesome 2” toys this summer.

The Walking Dead x Vannen “Walkers!” Watch by Charlie Adlard

The Walking Dead x Vannen “Walkers!” Watch by Charlie Adlard

Last Friday Vannen released its highly anticipated watch collaboration with The Walking Dead. Entitled “Walkers!”, this bloody timepiece of course sold out instantly. Vannen had been keeping this watch, designed by The Walking Dead artist Charlie Adlard, under tight wraps. But now that it’s been released The Blot can finally share with you what it looks like! Pretty awesome don’t you think? If you missed out on this killer watch don’t fret, rumor has it Vannen is already considering releasing a second colorway of its The Walking Dead watch sometime soon.

[rich] of UME Toys is always coming up with the cutest little creatures, and Pembelton Stranglefoot is one of his best! Star Wars x Super7 T-Shirt Collection Series 1 by Brian Flynn

Star Wars x Super7 T-Shirt Collection Series 1 - “Star Wars Arcade” by Brian Flynn

Earlier this week Super7 announced its newest collaboration with Lucasfilm, a line of Star Wars designer t-shirts! Star Wars x Super7 Collection Series 1 includes three designs, “Star Wars Arcade,” “AT-AT Boombox” and “Camo Walker,” all designed by Super7 found Brian Flynn. Of the three designs my favorite is definitely “Star Wars Arcade” because of the nostalgic factor. I freaking loved that game as a kid! If you can’t tell, it’s basically a recreated screencap from the 1983 Atari game. From a design standpoint, the coolest tee is the “Camo Walker,” which features an AT-ST Walker with a camouflage pattern of the forest of Endor (complete with speeder bike silhouettes) contained within.

Star Wars x Super7 T-Shirt Collection Series 1 - “Camo Walker” by Brian Flynn

Normally The Blot would be super excited about this release. I love Super7 and I love Star Wars, so this has to be good right? But for some reason these first three designs just don’t do it for me. There are so many Star Wars t-shirts hitting the market these days you’ve really got to come up with something unique to get fans excited. I also think the plethora of “a t-shirt a day” websites has spoiled us. Their unlicensed designs have really pushed the boundaries of t-shirt designs and mash-ups. This just feels like a missed opportunity.

Star Wars x Super7 T-Shirt Collection Series 1 - “AT-AT Boombox” by Brian Flynn

All three Star Wars x Super7 Collection Series 1 t-shirts go on sale next Thursday, March 1st, at the Super7 online store. Each shirt comes in sizes S-2XL and will retail for $25 each.

Barneyism of the Week - Like Ships and Lake Monsters

I shouldn’t do this! I shouldn’t do this!

“What?” - Robin

This is a bad idea. This is a bad idea!

“What is?” - Robin

I should just go…I should just go!

“Ok, ok. Just tell me what is going on.” - Robin

I love my penis Robin.

“Barney, you promised…” - Robin

I do! I love it!

If I could kiss it I would.
I’d be lying if I told you I hadn’t tried.

“I’m not comfortable with this conversation” - Robin

Oh come on Robin.
It’s my penis we’re talking about!
You’ve seen her, she’s magnificent.

“She?” - Robin

Every penis is a girl Robin, everyone knows that.
Like ships…and lake monsters.

ESC Toy - Lucent Crow Crow Bear Resin Figure by Erick Scarecrow.jpg

Johnny Cupcakes “Snack Time” T-Shirt Collection

Johnny Cupcakes Snack Time Collection - “Mr. Cupcakes” & “When It Sprinkles It Pours” T-Shirts

Last week Johnny Cupcakes released a new batch of t-shirts centered around the theme of snacking, and included parodies of two iconic American food brands, Morton Salt's Salt Girl and Planters' Mr. Peanut. As you probably know, The Blot loves a good parody designs and this Johnny Cupcakes Morton Salt design might be one of my all time favorites. Everything about it is just perfect, including the royal blue t-shirt color.

Johnny Cupcakes Snack Time Collection - “Kitchen Fire Rescue” Crewneck & “Snack Dept.” T-Shirt

There’s also a pretty cool “Snack Department” t-shirt, which was released in five different colorways (one for each Johnny Cupcakes retail locations and the JC online store), and the “Kitchen Fire Rescue” crewneck. This sweatshirt was created as a nod to the brave firefighters across the world that protect our local bakeries.

Each Snack Time t-shirt retails for $35.99, while the crewneck sweatshirt retails for $54.99. All four of these snack themed designs are available at the Johnny Cupcakes online store while supplies last. A number of sizes are already sold out, so if you think you might want to pick up one of these awesome designs The Blot recommends doing so immediately!

Sonic x DC Comics Justice League Tots Plush Figures

DC Comics x Sonic Justice League Tots Plush Figures - Clark Kent, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter & The Flash

For a limited time only, Sonic is giving away these adorable Justice League of America Tots plush figures with the purchase of a Wacky Pack Kid’s Meal. The Blot’s not usually into happy meal toys, but these little JLA Tatter Tots were too cute to ignore. Collect Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl, Supergirl, Plastic Man, Clark Kent and the lone villain, Bizarro, reimagined as delicious Sonic tatter tots. This is such a random DC Comics collaboration, but that’s part of the reason I love it so much!

DC Comics x Sonic Justice League Tots Plush Figures - Hawkgirl, Aquaman, Supergirl, Bizarro, Plastic Man & Superman

Strangely enough this release is extremely heavy on Superman family characters with Batman nowhere to be seen. I assume that’s due to a licensing agreement DC has with another fast food chain (McDonalds probably), but the Justice League’s not complete without its Dark Knight! Hopefully if these prove popular enough we might get a second wave of Justice League Tots down the road. I’m not sure how tall these are but each plush figure comes with a pack of Justice League Tots trading cards. I also have no idea how long these will be available at Sonic, so act fast! Hopefully there’s one near you…

First Look: Adrianne Palicki as Lady Jaye G.I. Joe: Retaliation Action Figure

First Look: Adrianne Palicki as Lady Jaye G.I. Joe: Retaliation 3.75 Inch Action Figure

Since her Wonder Woman pilot never took off, I guess the next best thing for Adrianne Palicki to do is play Lady Jay, everyone’s second favorite female G.I. Joe member, in this summer’s G.I. Joe: Retaliation. While I’m sure Palicki will make a great Lady Jay, her 3.75” action figure from Hasbro is pretty lackluster especially compared to all of the other figures in this toy line. Shouldn’t Palicki have had to cut her hair to accurately portray Flint’s main squeeze? What are your thoughts on G.I. Joe 2’s sole female character?

G.I. Joe: Retaliation is scheduled to premier in theaters on June 29, 2012.

Robot 13 Trade Paperback Kickstarter feat Robot 13 & King! Resin Figures by Motorbot

“Robot 13: Colossus!” Trade Paperback Graphic Novel Cover & Robot 13 T-Shirt

Blacklist Studios just launched an exciting new Kickstarter project to help fund the production of their first Robot 13 trade paperback! You probably remember The Blot reviewed Robot 13 a few months ago and absolutely loved it. And now here’s your chance to get in on the action for as little as just $13. “Robot 13: Colossus!” is a 100 page trade paperback graphic novel, which includes the complete first story arc of Robot 13, a heroic robot on a journey to discover who he is and where he came from.

Blacklist Studios Robot 13 Resin Mini Figure by Motorbot

But that’s not all! To entice you to help fund its Kickstarter project, Blacklist Studios has put together some incredible incentives. Not only are there options for buttons, glow-in-the-dark t-shirts, and original comic art, but Blacklist Studios has also teamed up with Motorbot and Deadbear Studios to produce official Robot 13 and KING! resin mini figures. How cool is that?

Blacklist Studios Robot 13 Resin Mini Figure by Motorbot

Designed and produced by Motorbot, each Blacklist Studio figure will stand 2" tall making them a great addition to your M.U.S.C.L.E. collection! As part of different Kickstarter pledge incentives, there will be two Kickstarter exclusive colorways created, a Pewter Edition and an extremely limited Black Edition. The Blot really loves both these characters, and I can’t wait to see these turn out. In the mean time, check out these awesome teasers image from Motorbot.

Rumor has it Motorbot is also working on a limited edition Robot 13 bust as well…more details to come! And be on the lookout for the release of the first issue of Robot 13 Book 2 sometime soon.

Twilight Skies Steven the Bat Vinyl Figure by Bwana Spoons

Super7 - Twilight Skies Steven the Bat Vinyl Figure by Bwana Spoons

Here it is, the final Steven the Bat Monster Family scale vinyl figure from Bwana Spoons and Super7! This is the second Monster Family figure to be retired in the past year and The Blot’s not happy about it. Steven (along with the Rose Vampire) was one of the 3 original Monster Family figures and now only Holis remains. I’m honestly going to miss Bwana’s Steven the Bat…but fear not! Sources tell me another Monster Family scale figure from Bwana is already in the works! Details to come…

Before flying off into retirement, the Twilight Skies Steven the Bat is here to make one final appearance. Catch him before it's too late as he doesn't plan to stay long. Bwana Spoons's Steven the Bat is cast in clear silver vinyl with green, blue and white sprays. Pick up a Twilight Skies Steven the Bat for $35 at the Super7 online store this Thursday, February 23rd at noon PST.

Me and Mr Death Series 2 Resin Figures by RX

Italian designer and web cartoonist RX is back, with an all new series of RX and Mr. Death resin figures! Series 2, entitled “Comics Rule”, features comic versions of RX and Mr Death based on their appearances in Rx’s webcomic RX: Real Life Stories.

If you’re not familiar with Gionta’s characters, RX is a pretentious loser still searching for himself after graduating from school. He’s a chronic pessimist and quite a good burper. Mr. Death is the Grim Reaper who has been trying, unsuccessfully, to get at RX for years. Oh yeah, and he loves beer! This two figure set includes a scythe, beer mug and a beer can, and has a limited edition run size of just 7 sets. Each figure stands 17cm tall and comes hand painted by the artist. These exciting sets are currently available for preorder through the RX online store, so head on over and shoot RX an email to reserve your Me and Mr. Death Series 2 today!

“Love Sick” Siamese Cherries Resin Figures by Lou Pimentel

“Love Sick” Siamese Cherries Resin Figures by Lou Pimentel

So The Blot is admittedly way late on finding out about these sick Siamese Cherries by Lou Pimentel. But as the saying goes, better late than never! How cute are these mini resin figures? February’s “Flavor of the Month” is the Love Sick Cherry, and these look awesome. Made from clear red resin with a pill in the middle (to cure what ails you naturally), these Love Sick Cherries go on sale at Lou’s online store today, Tuesday, February 21st, at 3pm EST. The “Love Sick” Siamese Cherries colorway has a limited edition run size of 12 pieces and will retail for $40 each.

Optimus Prime Custom Transformers 3" Dunny by Motorbot

Optimus Prime Custom Transformers 3 Inch Dunny by Motorbot

While Michael Bay’s horrific live action Transformers franchise has hurt my fandom somewhat, seeing this Generation 1 Optimus Prime custom 3” Dunny by Motorbot still gets me excited. What can I say, seeing this version of Optimus takes me back to the good old days of Transformers cartoons and Marvel comic books! I could honestly listen to Peter Cullen’s voice as Optimus Prime all day and it’d never get old.

Pick up this awesome Optimus Prime 3” custom Dunny (made from resin and acrylic on vinyl) by Motorbot from the Dead Bear Studios online store for $50.

Zombies of The Walking Dead Screen Prints by Danny Miller

Zombies of The Walking Dead Screen Prints by Danny Miller - Well Zombie, RV Zombie & Beard Zombie

Just in time for the mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead, AMC has teamed up with Danny Miller of Twenty-Eyes Collective to produce three limited edition screen prints featuring Walkers from Season 2 of The Walking Dead. The prints, which each have a limited edition run size of 400 pieces, depict the undead by way of a seven color silkscreen process: The RV Walker that stalks Andrea in the Season Premiere, the Well Walker from Episode 5 and a Bearded Walker slated to appear in an upcoming episode.

The artwork for these prints was created directly from photos taken by Emmy Award-winning makeup effects designer and co-executive producer Greg Nicotero on set during production and is licensed by AMC. Each “Zombies of The Walking Dead” screen print measures 14”x30” and comes signed and numbered by Greg Nicotero and artist Danny Miller. These prints are currently available for purchase at the 20 Eyes Collective online store for $40 each or $110 for per set. But act quickly as at least one of the individual Zombie prints is almost sold out already.

The Walking Dead airs Sunday nights at 10/9c on AMC.

First Look: The Avengers Movie Minimates

First Look: The Avengers Movie Minimates Series - Iron Man, Captain America, Loki, Nick Fury, Thor, The Hulk, Hawkeye & Black Widow

So many great toys made their debut at Toy Fair 2012 this past week The Blot couldn’t possibly blog about all of them. But there’s no way I could ignore some of my favorites, like Diamond Select Toys new The Avengers Movie Minimates Series. From what I can tell there will be five The Avengers Movie Minimate 2-packs released, including Captain America & Iron Man, Thor & the Hulk, Loki & Nick Fury, Hawkeye & Black Widow and Maria Hill & an as of yet unnamed villain!

The Blot’s favorite The Avengers Movie 2-pack is definitely the Hawkeye/Black Widow set, but how can I not buy the Maria Hill Minimate set!?! I mean come on, this is How I Met Your Mother’s Cobie Smulders first ever action figure! That makes it a must get sight unseen. Marvel’s definitely bringing the heat this summer with Avengers tie-in toy lines and DST has done a great job with these 2” fully articulated figures.

Rivet Exclusive Grey Zombie Edition O-No Sashimi Vinyl Figure by Andrew Bell

Sold exclusively at Rivet Gallery in Columbus, Ohio, this Zombie Grey Edition O-No Sashimi has a limited edition run size of just 150 pieces and retails for the low, low price of $40. Each figure includes replaceable and rotatable eyes, attachable fins, body segments, and a bowl accessory that the tail can be placed into. Packaged in a supermarket style fish tray, you can pick one up now from Rivet’s online store while supplies last!

OG Dragon King Vinyl Figure by kaNO

OG Edition Dragon King Vinl Figure by kaNO

After blogging about both of kaNO’s Dragon King exclusives, I realized I had never talked about the original colorway. Designed as a tribute and homage to one of the biggest icons in American history, kaNO’s Dragon King was meant to capture Bruce Lee’s essence and attitude rather than being a carbon copy of his likeness. As kaNO explains, “the Dragon King was a labor of love for me and I couldn't be happier with it; it's not often you get the opportunity to make a toy of one of your biggest heroes."

There are seriously so many reasons why The Blot digs this figure. It’s the perfect mesh of kaNO’s signature style and a tribute to a true American Icon. Plus I just really love Bruce Lee. My only problem with this figure is I honestly can’t decide which of the three Dragon King colorways I want to pick up! The OG Dragon King vinyl figure stands 8” tall, includes a baton and camera gun, and comes packaged in a gift box with flocked blister. With a limited edition run size of just 250 pieces, the OG Edition Dragon King retails at designer toy stores worldwide for $65 each.

First Look: RZA as Blind Master G.I. Joe: Retaliation 3.75 Inch Action Figure

If you haven’t been able to tell by now, The Blot is really excited about G.I. Joe: Retaliation and Hasbro's corresponding Real American Hero scale toy line! Why? Because we’re getting very cool, super articulated 3.75” action figures of actors like Bruce Willis, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan. Yes the RZA is getting his own G.I. Joe action figure! Come on, that’s pretty freaking cool. Who’s next, Method Man?

The only downside to this toy is the head sculpt isn’t as useful for customizing Wu-Tang era RZA figures. Although I’m sure some talented artists are already working on a way around that beard. RZA will be portraying the Blind Master, who in the world of G.I. Joe: Retaliation is one of the Arashikage ninja masters who taught Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow and his protégé Jinx.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation is scheduled to premier in theaters on June 29, 2012.

The Walking Dead Vannen Watch Packaging Artwork by Charlie Adlard

Vannen x Skybound The Walking Dead Watch Packaging Artwork by Charlie Adlard

Vannen has teamed up with Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard, the creative team behind Image’s hit comic book series The Walking Dead, to release a limited edition The Walking Dead watch! While the look of the watch is still a mystery, MTVGeek was given an exclusive pic of the backside of the watch’s packaging (seen above). Annoyingly, we have to wait until February 23rd for a full reveal of the packaging and the watch itself.

What we do know is Vannen’s The Walking Dead watch has a limited edition run size of 250 pieces, each packaging comes signed by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard, and will retail for $85 each. The Walking Dead watch will go on sale Friday, February 24th at VannenWatches.com and Skybound.com. These will be the only two stores carrying the watch, with a small number of The Walking Dead watches available exclusively at the Skybound booth at Image Comic Expo in Oakland, CA from Feb 24th through the 26th.

The Walking Dead Minimates - Rick Grimes, Lori Grimes, Zombie, Zombie, Tyreese & Zombie Action Figures

We don’t know too much about this series yet, but DST did have a huge selection of The Walking Dead Minimates on display at their Toy Fair 2012 booth (including a ton of zombies)! From the photos taken by the good people at ASMzine, it looks like we will be seeing a ton of characters released in this toy line including, Rick Grimes, Lori Grimes, Glen, Dale Horvath, Shane, Andrea and Tyreese. The Blot’s especially excited to see Tyreese finally get some love as he’s the only main character totally ignored by the AMC television series. Hopefully we will find out more details soon, including a release date.
