Kidrobot's Newest Production Dunny: Arlequine 3” Dunny by Koralie

Kidrobot: Arlequine 3 Inch Dunny Vinyl Figure by Koralie

It looks like Kidrobot will be releasing more and more individual 3” Dunnys and The Blot loves it. First came Birro the Clown by Chauskoskis and now meet Arlequine by Koralie! The quality of these designs has been top notch, and it’s great that artists like Chauskoskis and Koralie get the spotlight all to themselves. All I want to know now is who’s next!?!

Star of the show, the happy acrobat performs for the crowd. A servant of laughs and those who adore her, Arlequine hides behind a black mask and red painted lips. A fabric collar frames her face and dwarfs her 3 inch frame. Holding a blue balloon, she stands coyly, waiting for the curtain to fall.

Kidrobot: Arlequine 3 Inch Dunny Vinyl Figure by Koralie

The Arlequine 3” Dunny by Koralie debuts April 12th and has a limited edition run size of just 1,500 figures. Each figure retails for $14.95, and is available exclusively at Kidrobot retail stores. I guess this means no online sales? That’s a serious bummer for most, but thankfully I’ll be traveling back to Las Vegas in late April and will most definitely be hitting up the Kidrobot at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

The Avengers LEGO Edition Movie Poster

The official twitter account for this summer’s The Avengers tweeted a picture of this amazing LEGO version of the film’s final theatrical one sheet movie poster. It is the exact same poster as the one seen here, but all of the characters have been replaced with their LEGO mini figure counterparts. Seriously, how great is this!?! According to Twitter, this Avengers movie poster in LEGO form will be available in select movie theaters on May 4th (while supplies last). Sadly that’s not really all that helpful, but it’s all we got! Good luck hunting one down…

Marvel's The Avengers assemble in theaters this summer on May 4, 2012.

KFHC Exclusive Kentucky Bluegrass Ugly Unicorn by Rampage Toys

KFHC Exclusive Kentucky Bluegrass Ugly Unicorn Vinyl Figure by Rampage Toys

I know The Blot probably says this a lot, but I have really been looking forward to the release of the KFHC x Rampage Toys Kentucky Bluegrass Ugly Unicorn. This particular shade of blue was custom a custom color designed by Monster Worship for 2010’s Kentucky Bluegrass Greasebat, which still ranks as my favorite RFGB. I’ve come to love this color of Japanese vinyl and got really excited when I learned KFHC and Rampage Toys were working with Monster Worship to recreate the color for this release (making it just the 2nd figure to ever feature this unique shade of blue).

KFHC Exclusive Kentucky Bluegrass Ugly Unicorn Vinyl Figure by Rampage Toys

The KFHC x Rampage Toys Kentucky Bluegrass Ugly Unicorn stands 5" tall and will be sold unpainted and painted. The unpainted Kentucky Bluegrass Ugly Unicorn has a limited edition run size of 10 pieces and will retail for $35 each, while the Kentucky Bluegrass “Angry Eyes” Ugly Unicorn (painted by Jon Malmstedt of Rampage Toys) has a limited edition run size of 10 pieces and will retail for $45 each. You can also purchase a 2 figure set for the discounted price of $75!

The KFHC Exclusive Kentucky Bluegrass Uglie Unicorns vinyl figures by Rampage Toys go on sale at the KFHC online store this Saturday, March 31st, at noon EST.

The Muppets Pop! Vinyl Figures by Funko

The Muppets Pop! Series 1 by Funko - Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear & Gonzo Vinyl Figures

The most anticipated Pop! release of 2012 is almost upon us! Funko is releasing an all new line of The Muppets Pop! vinyl figures this summer and they look awesome! Actually, there’s something about Kermit’s head that looks a little off but the rest of the figures look perfect. I just hope they continue this line so I can collect all of the Electric Mayhem. The Muppets Pop! Series 1 includes Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Animal, Dr. Teeth, Mahna Mahna and Snowth.

The Muppets Pop! Series 1 by Funko - Animal, Dr. Teeth, Mahna Mahna & Snowth Vinyl Figures

Mahna Mahna and Snowth were definitely a surprise inclusion into Series 1, but I know diehard Muppet fans will love getting their hands on these two underappreciated characters. Plus the rarity of Mahna Mahna and Snowth toys should make these highly sought after. Each The Muppets Pop! vinyl figure stands 3.75", features one point of articulation and comes packaged in a full color displayable window box. While these toys are not expected to hit store shelves until July 2012, you can pre-order them now from Entertainment Earth here for $9.99 each.

Chap-Lynn Cooki Resin Figure by Erick Scarecrow

ESC Toy: Chap-Lynn Cooki Resin Figure by Erick Scarecrow

ESC Toy has been on a tear this month! Four releases in four week is a serious undertaking for any artists, but it’s especially impressive when you look all of the amazing details that go into these handmade figures by Erick Scarecrow. For the last week of March 2012, ESC Toy will be releasing Chap-Lynn Cooki, the second colorway of Erick’s Chap-Lynn figure. This beautiful 7.25” hand painted resin figure features a blue and brown color scheme, has a limited edition run size of 15 pieces and retails for $250 each. Pick one up at 11am EST today, Friday, March 30th, at the ESC Toy online store.

“20,000 Leagues Under The Sea” Disney Screen Print by Ken Taylor

Mondo x Sideshow Collectibles “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea” Disney Screen Print by Ken Taylor

Mondo and Sideshow Collectibles have teamed up once again to release an all new Disney screen print today, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea by Ken Taylor. I love this screen print by Ken Taylor because of the old school movie poster vibe it gives off. The imagery this movie provided was incredible and Ken really nailed it. This might just be my favorite print Ken’s ever created! It’s also worth noting that this is the first Mondo screen print for a live action Disney movie. For those of you not familiar with the 1954 live action movie this print is based on, it starred Kirk Douglas as Ned Land, James Mason as Captain Nemo, Paul Lukas as Professor Pierre Aronnax and Peter Lorre as Conseil.

20,000 Leagues Under The Sea” by Ken Taylor is a 36”x24” hand numbered screen print, and has a limited edition run size of 390 pieces. The print will retail for $50 and go on sale at a random time on today, Friday, March 30th, at the Mondo online store.

Winter Is Coming: Game of Thrones Season 2 Teaser Posters

Game of Thrones Season 2 Teaser Television Poster - War Is Coming

Game of Thrones, the most talked about show of 2011, returns to HBO this week and The Blot can’t wait! Thankfully Game of Thrones is one of the few shows/movies that actually lived up to its gigantic budget and HBO was more than happy to give a second season the green light. I was hoping to start reading George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series after watching the first season, but I never got around to it. So I really have no idea where this story is going to go. But I’ve got a feeling some crazy stuff is about to happen to the show’s large and diverse cast of characters.

Pink Prowler Rose Vampire Casket Cruiser by Josh Herbolsheimer

Super7: Pink Prowler PGID (Pink Glow in the Dark) Rose Vampire Casket Cruiser Vinyl Figure by Josh Herbolsheimer

Haunting the night where he really shines, Josh Herbolsheimer’s Rose Vampire is back in action in his brand new ride, the Pink Prowler Casket Cruiser. Too fast to catch, don't blink or all you'll be seeing is the dust settling. The Pink Prowler Rose Vampire Casket Cruiser is cast in Super7’s unique pink glow in the dark (PGID) vinyl with white, red, yellow and blue sprays.

The PGID Monster Family Rose Vampire is one of The Blot’s favorite RVs, so you know this one has me drooling. Pick one up starting next Thursday, April 5th, at noon PST at the Super7 online store for $65 each.

“Comics Rule” Me and Mr Death Series 2 Resin Figures by RX

“Comics Rule” Me and Mr Death Series 2 Resin Figures by RX

Italian designer and web cartoonist RX has completed his “Comics Rule” RX and Mr. Death Series 2 resin figures and they turned out awesome! Series 2 features comic versions of RX and Mr Death based on their appearances in RX's webcomic RX: Real Life Stories. It’s a great webcomic that you can enjoy whether you speak English or Italian. This two figure set includes a scythe, beer mug and a beer can, and has a limited edition run size of just 7 sets. Each figure stands approximately 6.5” tall, comes hand painted by the artist and packaged in a really nice foam lined box.

“Comics Rule” Me and Mr Death Series 2 Resin Figures and Packaging by RX

If you’re not familiar with Gionta’s characters, RX is a pretentious loser still searching for himself after graduating from school. He’s a chronic pessimist and quite a good burper. Mr. Death is the Grim Reaper who has been trying, unsuccessfully, to get at RX for years. Oh yeah, and he loves beer!

G.I. Joe: Retaliation First Look: Elodie Yung as Jinx

G.I. Joe: Retaliation First Look: Elodie Yung as Jinx

The newest still image to be released in conjunction with the marketing of this summer’s G.I. Joe: Retaliation is of Elodie Yung as Jinx! The Blot’s always been a huge Jinx fan, starting with her debut in the 1987 animated film G.I. Joe: The Movie. A month later she would make her debut in the Marvel comic book and the rest is history. Jinx has never been a hugely popular G.I. Joe character, but she always seems to pop back up eventually in every iteration of the franchise. After making a brief appearance in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Jinx is ready to take center stage in G.I. Joe: Retaliation as the film explores the history of the Arashikage ninja clan.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation is scheduled to premier in theaters on June 29, 2012.

Tenacious Toys Exclusive Uncle Argh Noir Qee by Scott Tolleson Kickstarter Project

Tenacious Toys Exclusive Noir Edition Uncle Argh Mini Qee by Scott Tolleson

The second colorway of Scott Tolleson’s popular Uncle Argh Mini Qee is in the works, but it needs your support to make it happen. This particular Kickstarter project is intended to fund an exclusive grayscale colorway, the Noir Edition, of Scott's 5" Uncle Argh Mini Qee. Toy2R will produce 500 of these figures in all, with all (minus the Kickstarter rewards) sold as Tenacious Toys exclusive. Everything for this project is ready to go, all that’s left is to raise the money! All funds raised through this Kickstarter project will be used to manufacture the Uncle Argh NOIR vinyl figures and cover their shipping from Hong Kong to the US.

The Blot’s a huge fan of both Scott Tolleson and Tenacious Toys, so here’s hoping these two forces can make this project happen. There’s still 34 days to go and the Noir Edition Uncle Argh Qee is almost funded, but there’s still a way to go! So head over to Kickstarter to find out more about how you can support the creation of Uncle Argh's second colorway.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation First Look: Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock

G.I. Joe: Retaliation First Look: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Roadblock

The next G.I. Joe: Retaliation still image to hit the web is of the film’s star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Roadblock. Roadblock was always one of The Blot’s favorite G.I. Joe characters from the ‘80s cartoon and comic book series. Sadly at some point in the late '90s Hasbro decided to replace Roadblock with Heavy Duty, but for the life of me I could not figure out why. I guess it worked out then that it was Heavy Duty, and not Roadblock, in the horrible G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. This allowed Roadblock to take center stage in what is starting to look like a good movie, G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation is scheduled to premier in theaters on June 29, 2012.

Coming Soon: Tuttz Mini Series 7 - Tweety & Bad Tweety Chase Figures

Tuttz Mini Series 7 by Argonaut Resins - Tweety & Bad Tweety Chase Resin Figures

END of Argonaut Resins is hard at work at finishing his extremely popular Tuttz Mini Series 7. There will be 14 more mini Tuttz resin figures released to round out Series 7, and so far these might be the best Tuttz Minis ever! I especially love these Tweety Bird inspired colorways entitled “Tweet” and “Bad Tweety.” These Series 7 chase figures are some of the best yellow color schemes I’ve ever seen on a Tuttz.

Tuttz Mini Series 7 by Argonaut Resins

Each Tuttz Mini Series 7 resin figure will retail for $40 and can be purchased at the Argonaut Resins online store. No word on when these figures will go on sale, but you can believe they will be gone in a flash when they do! I don’t know about you, but The Blot’s got his eye on that beautiful Metallic Bubblegum Tuttz Mini on the right!

Clothe Yourself in Awesome, a Kickstarter T-Shirt Project by Lain Lee 3

Clothe Yourself in Awesome, a Kickstarter Project by Lain Lee 3 - “Assemble”, “Doodle Power” & “99 Problems” T-Shirts

It’s pretty rare that we feature Kickstarter projects here on TheBlotSays.com. Usually I just tweet about them on Twitter, but this is one I wanted to give special attention to. I first met San Francisco artist Lain Lee 3 on Twitter and have been following his work ever since. He’s a fellow t-shirt collector and launched this Kickstarter fashion project entitled “Clothe Yourself in Awesome” to get his new t-shirt line off the ground and in your closet! Lain has picked three of his most popular designs to kick off the collection and has set some really reasonably priced reward packages.

These t-shirts are so dope, my only problem is deciding which one to get! But you don’t have to limit yourself, get all three! There’s The Avengers inspired “Assemble”, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles inspired “Doodle Power” and the Nike sneaker tee “99 Problems”, all three designed in Lain 3’s signature style. The “Clothe Yourself in Awesome” fashion project by Lain Lee 3 still has 10 days to go and could use your support…head over to Kickstarter to find out more!

The Mooncrow Resin Figure by Motorbot

The Mooncrow Resin Figures by Motorbot

The Blot is excited to introduce you to Motorbot’s Mooncrow, one of the most unique collaborations in the history of designer toys. You see, the Mooncrow was actually created by one of Motorbot’s kids! Based on the drawings of his oldest daughter, Motorbot redesigned the creature and began sculpturing. With her birthday quickly approaching, Motorbot decided to surprise her by having The Mooncrow ready on her birthday. How freaking cool is that!?!

The Mooncrow Original Concept Art by Motorbot and Daughter

She had no idea Motorbot was working on the figure, but he kept getting bits of info out of her about this monster she created. He was called a mooncrow and she wanted a silver one. And so, the mooncrow was officially born on her birthday! She was quite excited and after some negotiations she agreed to let Motorbot offer him to the public…but for a small fee. Already an entrepreneur at such a young age! Her daddy must be so proud.

The Mooncrow Resin Figure by Motorbot

The Mooncrow is now available at the Deadbear Studios online store for $35 each. Only 10 Mooncrows have been produced, 5 one offs and 5 GID white pearl editions, and the figure’s original designer will be getting a cut from each figure sold. So be sure to pick one up while supplies last and support one of the youngest designer toy makers ever!

Barneyism of the Week - Quinn

“But why Quinn?
I mean, you spent one night with her and she was kind of mean.” - Ted

We just connected…emotionally, intellectually, spiritually.

“So mind blowing sex?” - Ted

MIND BLOWING SEX!

For an hour afterwards I couldn’t uncross my eyes.

Which was awesome, because when I went back for seconds
it was like having a three-way with twins.

Rsin x Dead Hand Toys Custom Gread Resin Figures

The newest series of artist edition Gread resin figures from Dead Hand Toys drops next week and these look crazy good! This time around Lysol has teamed up with the extremely talented Rsin on a set of 10 Greads. I love collaborations like this because it’s so cool to see how one artist’s style translates to another artist’s figure.

Custom Bellicose Bunny by Jester

Nathan Hamill’s BELLICOSITY: A Bellicose Bunny Custom Group Show - Custom Bellicose Bunny by Jester

Tonight is opening night for Nathan Hamill’s BELLICOSITY: A Bellicose Bunny Custom Group Show at TAG in LA. When the show was first announced I heard some say they weren’t sure how the Bellicose Bunny sculpt would work as a platform for a custom show. Boy were they wrong! From the teaser images I’ve seen so far, every piece has been more amazing than the last. Just look at this awesome custom by fellow Houstonian Jester! In his custom, the Bellicose Bunny has upgraded from his carrot rocket to something a little more menacing. Be sure to check the TAG website on Saturday to see all of the customs, because this is going to be an amazing show!

Threadless Star Trek: TNG x Nike T-Shirt “Air Geordi”

Threadless Star Trek: The Next Generation x Michael Jordan's Air Jordan Nike Brand T-Shirt “Air Geordi”
Air Geordi by Justin Davis

While The Blot’s never been much of a Trekkie, I have always loved Star Trek: The Next Generation. As a kid I probably watched every episode of TNG 2 or 3 times, but nowadays I’d struggle to get through an entire episode. With that being said, I still hold the cast and crew of Star Trek: The Next Generation in high regard and absolutely love this new Threadless design "Air Geordi". This mashup of Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge (played by fan favorite LeVar Burton) with Michael Jordan’s signature “Air Jordan” Nike logo is utter genius. How many t-shirt designs out there can appeal to both geeks and sneaker heads all at the same time? It is also probably one of the few Threadless t-shirts I’ve ordered on the spot!

The Star Trek: TNG t-shirt “Air Geordi” comes printed on a silver t-shirt for guys and a creme t-shirt for girls, and is currently available for purchase at Threadless.com for $20. The shirt comes in both guys and girls styles, sizes S-2XL.

Marvel Movie Poster Series by DaveWill

Marvel Movie Poster Series by DaveWill - The Avengers Print

The Blot was recently introduced to the amazing work of British artist Dave Williams (aka DaveWill), and boy is he producing some really fun movie prints. I just wish I’d found out about him before his Marvel Movie Poster Series sold out! DaveWill is a graphic designer/illustrator from Liverpool, UK who loves to design alternative movie posters in his spare time. Over the past year he’s designed movie posters for X-Men: First Class, Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor and now The Avengers!

Marvel Movie Poster Series by DaveWill - Thor Print

Marvel Movie Poster Series by DaveWill - X-Men: First Class Print

Marvel Movie Poster Series by DaveWill - Captain America: The First Avenger Print

While all four posters are great, I especially like DaveWill’s designs for Thor and X-Men: First Class because of their retro feel. The SHILED logo in The Avengers poster is also pretty awesome.  Each movie poster in DaveWill’s Marvel Movie Poster Series has been released as an 18”x24” print on 350gsm stock. Only 10 prints of each Marvel movie poster were produced and they retailed for around $40, but unfortunately they’re all gone now. Keep your eyes peeled to DaveWill’s official website for future releases in this exciting series.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation First Look: Ray Park as Snake Eyes

G.I. Joe Retaliation First Look - Ray Park as Snake Eyes

So G.I. Joe: Retaliation has finally started releasing some still images of its cast and first up is fan favorite Snake Eyes (played by Ray Park). While Snake Eye’s overall look in the first film was spot on, his helmet was pretty much hated by everyone because of the molded lips. Why would they do that for a character known for not speaking? Seems like a Michael Bay move to me! It ranks right up there with the nipples on Batman’s uniform in Batman and Robin as one of the stupidest costume decisions ever. Thankfully they got it right this time by dropping the lips and amping up the cool! It’s just too bad they didn’t go with this look from the start. For those of you keeping score at home…that makes it G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra - 0, G.I. Joe: Retaliation - 1.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation is scheduled to premier in theaters on June 29, 2012.

Bad Ass Vending Machine Custom Sketchbot by Reddprime

Bad Ass Vending Machine Custom Sketchbot Vinyl Figure by Reddprime

Check out this awesome new custom Sketchbot by South African artist Reddprime (aka Mitchell Horn)! Tired of being kicked around, this Bad Ass Vending Machine has come to life ready to kick butt and chew bubble gum, and he’s all out of bubble gum! This one of a kind custom also includes the dented soda can accessory seen in the photo. Reddprime’s work is awesome, and I really love what he did with this Sketchbot. If I didn’t know better I’d say he was actually made of metal.

The Bad Ass Vending Machine Custom Sketchbot Vinyl Figure is currently on sale through Vinyl Destination's online store for just 690 rand (which is around $90). Get it before it gets you!

Crystal Clear Resin Mini Mad’ls by MAD

Crystal Clear Resin Mini Mad'l and Packaging by MAD

MAD’s soon to be released Crystal Clear Mini Resin Mad’ls have quickly become The Blot’s most anticipated release of 2012. I’m a huge Mad’l fan and have been drooling over each and every teaser pic MAD’s been dropping on his Instagram account. Rumor has it these 3" figures will be dropping this week, which is great because I’m not sure how much longer I can wait to get my hands on one! Hopefully this is just the beginning of the Mini Mad’l invasion in both resin and vinyl.

Crystal Clear Resin Mini Mad'ls by MAD

While nothing is definite, it is my understanding that 20 of these Crystal Clear Resin Mini Mad’ls have been produced and they will retail for around $50 exclusively at the Mad’s online store. To find out when they drop make sure you follow Mad on Twitter at @MADToyDesign, Instagram, and/or his new Twitter account @MADLBrand!

Edgar Wright Live! at The Alamo Drafthouse Screen Print by Kevin Tong

Edgar Wright Live! Screen Print by Kevin Tong

This weekend in Austin, director Edgar Wright is presenting all three of his films to open the brand new Alamo Drafthouse on Slaughter Lane. If you don’t know, this includes Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Hot Fuzz, all three instant classics in The Blot’s book. To commemorate this exciting event, Kevin Tong has been commissioned to create a screen print for the event and it rocks! Everyone coming to any one of Edgar’s four screenings will be able to buy the poster, and The Blot is really holding out hope a few of these make it to Mondo’s online store eventually.

If you’re in Austin this weekend I really hope you’ve got tickets to this very special event at the Alamo Drafthouse’s brand new theater on Slaughter Lane. If not, the only show not sold out is the dinner screening of Scott Pilgrim at 7:15. So buy a ticket while you still can (and pick up a print for The Blot while you’re there!).

Rampage Toys x Imps and Monsters Black & White Blank The Manotaur Vinyl Figures

Rampage Toys x Imps and Monsters Blank White The Manotaur Vinyl Figure

I don’t know how they did it, but Rampage Toys and Imps and Monsters were able to take The Manotaur from illustration to full on production vinyl figure in no time flat! It was just December when The Blot was talking about the original sculpt of The Manotaur, and now the character has already been produced in the finest Japanese soft vinyl! The first two colorways of the Rampage Toys x Imps and Monsters The Manotaur vinyl figure are unpainted black and unpainted white. Both versions are now available for pre-order through the Imps and Monsters online store for just $65. This 8” figure is expected to start shipping in early April 2012.

Rampage Toys x Imps and Monsters Blank Black The Manotaur Vinyl Figure

The Manotaur roams the world in search of something he can't quite remember. In fact, ever since he invited that fire spirit into his head he's had trouble concentrating on little other than catering to his countless neuroses and consuming anything with the word gummy in the description. In any case, he's pretty sure he's forgetting something really important...

Aurora Mixed Glow Greasebat by Jeff Lamm

Monster Worship - Aurora Mixed Glow Greasebat by Jeff Lamm

The Blot’s been anxiously awaiting the newest Real Fighting Greasebat release, and it’s finally here! Check out this beautiful Aurora Mixed Glow Greasebat by Jeff Lamm and Monster Worship. This colorway pays tribute to the classic Aurora model kits popularized in the 1960s and ‘70s, which also featured mixed parts and glow in the dark vinyl. The Aurora Mixed Glow Greasebat is made up of mixed parts of green vinyl (body and legs) and glow in the dark vinyl (head and arms) with a few simple black and red paint accents. This release also features killer new front header card artwork by Mr. Lamm.

The Aurora Mixed Glow Greasebat by Jeff Lamm goes on sale for $75 each at the Monster Worship online store this Friday, March 23rd, at 7pm EST.

Star Wars 10-11-12: Jon Paul Kaiser x Toy2R x Yoyamart

Star Wars 10-11-12: Jon Paul Kaiser x Toy2R x Yoyamart

UK artist Jon Paul Kaiser will be returning to the US for New York Comic-Con once again and this time he’s got something very special in store. On the opening night of NYCC 2012 there will be what The Blot can only assume from the teaser image above is a Star Wars themed show held at Yoyamart in conjunction with Toy2R. JPK has been releasing some amazing Star Wars customs over the past few years, and I can only imagine what he has in store for this event. Personally I would love a JPK Boba Fett production Qee, but that might only be a pipe dream! More details to come…

The Avengers International Movie Banners

The Avengers International Movie Banners - Hulk, Hawkeye, Maria Hill, Iron Man, Nick Fury, Captain America, Black Widow & Thor

Marvel’s marketing department took those kinda lame The Avengers international one sheet movie posters and turned them into pretty sweet international movie banners. It’s amazing what a different format and a little photoshopping can do! I absolutely love the Avengers team banner above. It’s got everything I loved about the movie posters and got rid of everything I hated. Plus this is the first time we see Cobie Smulders’ Maria Hill as a part of the team. My biggest complaint about these The Avengers movie banners? How fake the backgrounds look. Worst explosions in a poster ever!

The Avengers International Movie Banners - Chris Evans as Captain America & Chris Hemsworth as Thor

The Avengers International Movie Banners - Mark Ruffalo as Hulk & Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man

The Avengers International Movie Banners - Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow & Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye

Marvel's The Avengers assemble in theaters this summer on May 4, 2012.
