Today, Bottleneck Gallery is releasing a stunning and terrifying new movie poster for Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers by one of The Blot’s favorite artists, Ken Taylor! This stunning new screen print takes us back to Middle Earth and face to face with a Nazgûl rider. As BNG explained, “Ken’s print for The Two Towers captures the architecture, nature, and general scenery from Frodo and crew’s continuing adventures, but with a more dire and foreboding color palette. Ken’s poster centers around the Black Rider atop their Fellbeast and shows off all of the dreadful details of the dark foes in our heroes’ path. Ken’s unique approach to coloring the piece makes it pop right off of the paper, and we’re excited to continue our adventure through Middle Earth with him.”
The Two Towers by Ken Taylor is a 24”x36” hand numbered Lord of the Rings screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 175 pieces and will retail for $65, while the Variant is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $75. There is a Multi-Layer Acrylic Edition of both the Regular Edition and Variant. Each is printed on 3 layers of acrylic panels with archival pigment inks. They are limited to 15 pieces each and will retail for $175. All four LOTR prints go on sale at 12pm ET on Friday, June 6th, at BottleneckGallery.com.
