The Blot’s friends at the House of Darkly (ok it’s really just one person – Anne Kirn) will be setting up shop this weekend at C2E2 2016 in Chicago and bringing with them a ton of adorable, handmade plushes! If you love cute, then you’ll definitely want to check out the House of Darkly C2E2 booth #561 in The Block. That’s where you’ll also find Anne’s C2E2 2016 Exclusive Craft Beer Plush (get it…“craft”!). It’s limited to just 5 pieces, and I have a sinking suspicion these plush bespectacled alcoholic beverages will go quickly!

SDCC 2015 Exclusive “Harvest” Screen Print by Kevin Tong
Check out Kevin Tong’s beautiful new screen print “Harvest”, which will be released exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con 2015! I love Kevin’s use of color and lighting in this print. Doesn’t the subject look like she’s glowing!?! Originally designed as a label for local Minneapolis, MN micro brewery Like Minds Brewing for their new Kolsch style beer, this stunning image will now be released as an art print exclusive to Comic-Con.
The San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Exclusive “Harvest” Screen Print by Kevin Tong measures 18”x24” and comes signed and numbered by the artist. It can be purchased from Kevin’s SDCC booth #932.

Hellboy “Right Hand of Doom” Red Ale by Rogue Ales
To celebrate the 21st anniversary of Mike Mignola's legendary Hellboy character, Dark Horse Comics and Oregon based microbrewery Rogue Ales have collaborated to create the “Right Hand of Doom” Red Ale! Dedicated to the B.P.R.D., “Right Hand of Doom” Red Ale is brewed with all the same passion and intensity that Mike Mignola and Dark Horse have brought to Hellboy for the past 21 years. How freaking cool is this release!?! The Blot especially loves the Hellboy label designed by Mignola.
Hellboy “Right Hand of Doom” Red Ale by Rogue Ales is currently available across the country in 650ml bombers for around $6.75 each. Unfortunately, it's now sold out via the Rogue Ales online store. Good luck hunting one down!

Dogfish Head Brewery Seasonal Beer Screen Prints by Jermaine Rogers
Earlier this year it was announced by Dogfish Head Brewery that Jermaine Rogers had been chosen as their 2014 Seasonal Artist. For several years now Dogfish Head has commissioned rock 'n' roll artists to create a series of posters to accompany their annual seasonal releases. Not only that, but Jermaine got to create a series of matching designs that will adorn the labels of each Dogfish Head seasonal beer: Aprihop in spring, Festina Peche in summer, Punkin Ale in fall and Piercing Pils in winter. Pretty awesome, right!?!
As you know The Blot’s a huge fan of Jermaine’s work, so of course I can’t wait to get my hands on some of this Dogfish Head Brewery x Jermaine Rogers brew! All Dogfish Head Brewery Seasonal Artist Screen Prints by Jermaine Rogers dropped this week to commemorate the release of Jermaine’s first seasonal beer, Aprilhop. Each print is limited edition, come signed and numbered by the artist, and retails for $50 exclusively at the Dogfish Head online store. I’m just bummed the print I really wanted, Punkin Ale featuring Dero, is already sold out! Look for matching t-shirts to also drop with each season.

Pearl Jam Twenty Faithfull Ale by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery
This is one of those unexpected releases that totally blows The Blot’s mind. As a huge Pearl Jam fan I’m always excited about new PJ merchandise, but I never thought I’d be drinking official Pearl Jam beer. Eddie Vedder wine possibly, but definitely not beer. Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is proud to announce the release of Pearl Jam Twenty Faithfull Ale!
Faithfull Ale is a celebration of Pearl Jam's 20th anniversary as a band and its extraordinary debut album Ten. In recognition of these milestones, this Belgian-style golden ale is delicately hopped to 20 IBUs and fruit-forward from 10 incremental additions of black currants over a one-hour boil. Faithfull will clock in at 7% ABV. I have no idea what most of that means, but I’ll definitely be hunting for a 6-pack of Faithfull Ale in the next few weeks. It officially started shipping to all of the states in which Dogfish Head currently does business last week.
As Dogfish Head President & Founder Sam Calagione stated in the Faithful Ale press release, "To me, Ten is the perfect example of a record-lover's-record. The whole thing rocks. As an off-centered brewery, we believe in celebrating the breadth of our whole portfolio and we feel an affinity for Pearl Jam a long-player band in a singles-obsessed world."
Dogfish Head also found inspiration in Pearl Jam's ethics, community-building and commitment to putting music before commerce. In recognition of this refreshing approach, Dogfish is donating $20,000 to The Nature Conservancy to aide in its efforts to preserve the plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth.
Please drink responsibly!
