Produced by Circus Posterus and Tomenosuke, each figure is cast in soft Japanese vinyl and then hand painted.

The Blot was so bummed when I learned I missed out on the very first painted release of Brandt Peters’ awesome new figure, Orion the Mummy! Produced by Unbox Industries, this character is the first figure in Brandt’s ongoing “Halloween Yokai” soft vinyl figure series. I don’t know what’s coming next, but Brandt is really setting the bar high with Orion! Unbox is spot on in their description of the figure by stating “Orion exudes his iconic “creepy cute” aesthetic that he nails perfectly.”

Last weekend Bewitching VI: An Annual Halloween Group Exhibition opened at Stranger Factory. One of The Blot’s favorite pieces in the group show was this custom Zombie Stingy Jack vinyl figure by Brandt Peters! Cast in clear and opaque soft Japanese vinyl, Zombie Stingy has a some really cool effects with clear hands, pumpkins stem and hat. According to Brandt, “the hands and head are painted water clears [and] the 'clear' hat is painted in reverse!” How rad! This one of a kind 7” figure retailed for $300.
