Bruiser Brody Sofubi Pro Wrestling Series 2 Figure by Junk Shop Dog

The Blot’s been waiting a long time for this release, and it’s finally here!  Inspired by the iconic Popy sofubi wrestling figures of the ‘70s and ‘80s, Junk Shop Dog is unofficially continuing that legendary Japaense toy line with the Sofubi Pro Wrestling Series 2!  To kick things off, JSD is releasing this epic Bruiser Brody soft vinyl figure of the legendary professional wrestler based on his time in All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW).

Brody definitely should have been in the original Popy line, so it’s amazing to see him reproduced in figure form that could easily have been released back in the late 1970s.  Packaged in a full color, resealable blister card, the Bruiser Brody Sofubi Pro Wrestling Series 2 figure will be available in two colorways: Regular Edition ($29.99) and Chain Silver Variant (LE 200; is $49.99).  Both will go on sale at 6pm EST today, Friday, December 4th, at the new JunkShopDog.com.

Professional Wrestling Legend Bruiser Brody Bullmark Edition Sofubi Vinyl Figure by Medicom

Medicom continues its popular line of Sofubi Fighting Series vinyl figures, which features some of the biggest names in professional wrestling, with this Bullmark Edition Bruiser Brody! This is actually the second colorway of the Giant Baba that Medicom has released. Along with a slightly different paint application on the figure’s body, it also sports an entirely new head sculpt! To The Blot, this version of Bruiser Brody looks a lot more like the legendary grappler than Medicom’s original release.

The Bullmark Edition Bruiser Brody Sofubi Fighting Series Vinyl Figure by Medicom stands approximately 9.8” tall, is cast in soft Japanese vinyl with 3 points of articulation, and is sold individually for around $115.

Professional Wrestling Legends Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen Sofubi Vinyl Figures by Medicom

Medicom continues its popular line of Sofubi Fighting Series vinyl figures with two American legends of professional wrestling, Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen! Both wrestlers has impressive careers around the globe making them fan favorites (to cheer or boo) wherever their travels took them. While both men had separate stints in the WWE, Bruiser Brody (then called Giant Baba) and Stan “The Lariat” Hansen formed a killer tag team in All Japan Pro Wrestling that is still talked about to this day! If only The Blot was able to see Brody perform before his untimely death in 1988.

Sculpted by Noiguramu, each figure stands approximately 9.8” tall, is cast in soft Japanese vinyl with 3 points of articulation, and is sold individually for around $125.  This figure is expected to start hitting store shelves in Japan sometime in April 2016.
