Growing up, The Blot was a huge fan of the New Mutants, especially Cannonball and Sunspot.  While Sunspot never became a major X-Men character, he was always a part of the larger X-Men / New Mutants universe.  So I was really pumped to learn that Roberto Da Costa would become a main character on the new Disney+ animated series, X-Men ’97, a spin off of the iconic 1990s X-Men: The Animated Series.
