Vice Press has teamed up with artist Drew Millward to release this rad new movie poster for John Carpenter’s The Fog! As Vice Press explained, “Here at Vice Press we love a series of posters. Drew Millward’s John Carpenter series is the perfect example, and continues with The Fog.”

The Thing Screen Print by Drew Millward x Vice Press

Vice Press has released this epic new movie poster for John Carpenter’s The Thing by artist Drew Millward! Drew really knocked it out of the park with his line work and use of color in this fantastic screen print for the cult classic.

The Thing by Drew Millward is a 24”x18” hand numbered 7 color screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 200 pieces and retails for £39.99, while the Metallic Variant is limited to 175 pieces and retails for £49.99. Psycho Goreman Movie Poster Screen Print by Drew Millward x Mondo

The Blot was pumped to learn that Mondo would be working with artist Drew Millward again!  Check out Millward’s trippy new movie poster for Psycho Goreman, a film equal parts grindhouse creature feature and Amblin-esque coming of age kids-befriend-alien adventure. Steven Kostanski’s film is a love letter written in blood, for all of us who grew up obsessed with monsters, over-the-top science fiction, and genre films of the late ‘80s.

They Live Screen Print by Drew Millward x Vice Press

 

Check out this fantastic new They Live movie poster by Drew Millward and Vice Press!  John Carpenter’s 1988 sci-fi / horror film is one of The Blot’s favorites, and Millward killed it on this new screen print.  They Live is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print.  The Main Color Edition is limited to 150 pieces and retails for £40, while the Black and White Variant with metallic links is limited to 75 pieces and will retail for £50.  Both editions are available now at Vice-Press.com.

Hanna-Barbera Screen Prints by Dave Perillo, Andrew Kolb, Anne Benjamin, Matthew Woodson & Drew Millward

Mondo is teaming up with Hanna-Barbera to release a new series of epic screen prints based on H-B’s iconic cartoons The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, Tom & Jerry, Jonny Quest and Hong Kong Phooey! The Blot honestly just can’t believe it took this long for this collaboration to happen. The entire series drops at a random time today, December 4th, at the Mondo online store, and features designs by Dave Perillo, Andrew Kolb, Anne Benjamin, Matthew Woodson and Drew Millward.

“Ten Little Flintstones” by Dave Perillo is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print, is limited to just 175 pieces and will retail for $40.

Popobawa Vinyl Figure by Drew Millward Pre-Order Is Live!

Popobawa, Drew Millward’s very first vinyl figure, just went up for pre-order through Disturbia’s online store in two exciting colorways. If you’re a fan of Drew’s art and screen prints then you’ll definitely want to get your hands on this awesome 6” tall figure.

Popobawa is a veritable frankenstein's monster of crazy components. Part human skull, part bat-head, Popobawa is a seven-eyed, fanged and winged, sneaker-wearing crazy little bat. The full colored Standard Edition Popobawa vinyl figure (£34) is limited to just 150, while the ultra rare Greyscale Variant (£54) is limited to just 50 pieces! Both come packaged in bespoke packaging designed by Drew. But that’s not all, look for future colorways of this trippy bat coming soon (a Gold variant anyone!?!).

Disturbia has also produced two Popobawa t-shirts featuring everyone’s favorite evil bat spirit designed by Drew Millward. It is available in mens (S-XXL) and womens (S-L) style t-shirts and retails for just £24. You can also pick up a Standard Edition Popobawa vinyl figure and t-shirt combo for £50. First Look: Popobawa Vinyl Figure by Drew Millward

The Blot’s been a huge fan of UK artist Drew Millward for years. Drew has such a unique art style that’s undeniably his. I love that I can see any of his crazy prints or a paintings instantly know it’s a Millward piece. So when I saw the picture above pop up in my Instagram feed my jaw hit the ground!

It turns out Millward has teamed up with UK clothing brand Disturbia to produce his very first vinyl figure entitled Popobawa! After a little Googling I learned “popobawa” is a Swahili name that translates to “bat-wing," which seems like a perfect name for this character. Isn’t the two sided hat Popbawa is wearing so freaking awesome!?! Not much is known about this vinyl figure right now, but this should turn out to be seriously sick piece!

Lost Screen Print #11 - Walt's Kidnapping by Drew Millward

Last week’s Lost print, “Walt’s Kidnapping” by Drew Millward, is really awesome! It has such a killer Van Gogh / Starry Night feel to it, doesn’t it? Plus, I’m really glad to see Mr. Friendly get a shout-out in one of these limited edition Lost screen prints.


“Walt’s Kidnapping” is the eleventh screen print released on Damon, Carlton and A Polar Bear in honor of Lost’s sixth and final season. Drew Millward’s limited edition Lost screen print “Walt’s Kidnapping” measures 15”x24”, has a run size of 300 pieces, and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print sells for $50 each and could have been purchased here before it sold out.

In celebration of LOST's final season and as a project of fan appreciation, 16 top designers and artists, who are also fans of the show, were commissioned to create artwork celebrating one of the series' most memorable, and unforgettable, "water cooler" moments. This ultimate "fan art" was then turned into labor intensive, hand-pulled screen prints, limited to an edition of just 300, with less than 200 available to the public through our websites. Each beautiful poster tells its own different story, allowing the fan to relive memorable and influential moments in an artistic manner, as the show's storied run comes to a close. Once this limited edition print has sold out, they will never be printed again.
