Mike Mitchell has released three new timed edition Fat Birds prints, which pay homage to the three MLB franchises with bird mascots (Toronto, St. Louis and Baltimore)! New Mikeland & Fat Bird Timed Edition Prints by Mike Mitchell

Yesterday, Mike Mitchell released two new timed edition prints, a Mikeland design and a Fat Bird! Meet Muck Mitchell, the newest member of the Mikeland crew, and the Emerald Tanager Fat Bird.  As Mike explained, this is “a bird that’s been on my list for a while”. There's a Ruby Variant, a Saturday Morning Variant, a Void Variant (with a chase!), and a Printing Error Chase. “Muck Mitchell” retails for $50 and is an 8”x8” signed and numbered fine art print on cotton rag paper with archival inks. “Emerald Tanager” retails for $50 and is an 8”x10” signed and numbered fine art print on cotton rag paper with archival inks. 1 in 10 come with an extra “Printing Error” Variant print.

Fat Bird “White-Crowned Sparrow” Timed Edition Prints by Mike Mitchell

Yesterday, Mike Mitchell released the newest timed edition print in his ongoing Fat Bird Series, “White-Crowned Sparrow”. What a beautiful little Fat Bird! And as with many of Mitchell’s more recent releases, he’s also released a number of timed edition variants of the White-Crowned Sparrow. “White-Crowned Sparrow” by Mike Mitchell is an 8”x10” signed and numbered fine art giclee on cotton rag paper using archival inks.

The Regular Edition “White-Crowned Sparrow” retails for $50 and 1 in 20 comes with a “Blurb” chase variant, while the Companion Edition retails for $50 and 1 in 5 get an extra “82 Ball” print and 1 in 20 get an extra “No Ball” print.  There are also Printing Error Variants of both prints that retail for $75 each.  But that’s not all! Over the weekend Mike Mitchell released three new Mikeland timed edition prints and one really cool, limited edition Skully print.  What’s really cool, is if you pre-order one of the timed edition Mikeland, Fat Bird or Food Dude prints you'll be entered to win the original pencil linework! The Mikeland print “Cody 1” and the Food Dude print “Mace & Shield” both are 8”x8” signed and numbered prints that retail for $50 each.

While all giclee prints are limited edition, the Yellow-fronted Woodpecker Grey Variant giclee will be a timed edition available for just one hour starting at 12pm CDT. Yellow-fronted Woodpecker is an 8”x10” fine art giclee print on cotton rag paper. It is limited to 350 pieces, comes signed and numbered, and will retail for $50.

Mike Mitchell’s MondoCon 2019 Exclusives!

Fan favorite artist Mike Mitchell will be attending MondoCon 5 this weekend, and he will be releasing a number of adorable new prints exclusively at Static Medium’s booth! Updated: Mike Mitchell’s MondoCon 2017 Exclusive Prints!

Mike Mitchell will be setting up shop at MondoCon 2017 next weekend (November 4-5) in Austin, Texas, and he’s bringing with him some of what will surely be the most sought after exclusives of the entire convention! According to Mitchell, he’ll be debuting 11 new prints, stickers and patches at MC4, including these super cute Mikeland, Fat Kingdom and Food Dude designs. Which one is your favorite!?!
