SDCC 14 Exclusive “Radioactive Puke” Fossila Vinyl Figure by Josh Herbolsheimer

Josh Herbolsheimer is killing San Diego Comic-Con 2014 with three awesome Super7 releases! His third and final SDCC 2014 exclusive is the monstrous “Radioactive Puke” Fossila vinyl figure. I especially love the way S7 cast this figure, which used a really cool dripping effect instead of the more traditional marbled vinyl.

The San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusive “Radioactive Puke” Fossila stands 9” tall and is cast in vomit-inducing yellow vinyl with blue, green, brown and orange vinyl drip, and red, purple and bone colored sprays. Collectors can pick up this pollution filled monster exclusively at the Super7 SDCC booth #4945 for $95.

WonderCon Exclusive “Toxic Garbage Dump” Fossilla by Joshua Herbolsheimer

Joshua Herbolsheimer’s part-dino, part-skeleton, part-sludge, all kaiju creation the Fossilla returns from the dead this weekend at WonderCon 2014! While the final product hasn’t been shown yet, from this lone teaser image The Blot’s thinking this might be the best Fossilla yet! I’m loving the unpainted look of the “Toxic Garbage Dump” Fossila’s four color melted garbage vinyl. What a freaking cool effect from the scraps of previously used soft Japanese vinyl. Collectors can purchase this unique Fossilla colorway exclusively at WonderCon 2014 at the Super7 booth #1453 April 18-20th for $95 each.

SDCC 13 Exclusive “Raids Again” Fossilla Vinyl Figure by Joshua Herbolsheimer

Be it ancient asteroids, impossible aging, or aerobic decomposition, you can’t keep a good kaiju monster down! Clear the streets (and you toy shelf) as Fossilla Raids Again! Joshua Herbolsheimer’s part-dino, part-skeleton, part-sludge, all kaiju creation is cast in goopy green vinyl and decorated with black, violet, and metallic purple sprays along with blood red guts and bleached bones. Prehistory Fossilla Vinyl Figure by Josh Herbolsheimer

After multiple unpainted and one-off releases, Josh Herbolsheimer’s Fossilla is finally seeing its first painted release (nicknamed the Prehistory colorway)! The Blot has to admit, I was kind of undecided about this “Destroy All Kaiju!” figure, but seeing this epic painted version I’m totally sold on Fossilla. The paint does an amazing job showing off Josh’s sculpt (and really helps explains what’s really going on with Fossila’s body). The Prehistory Fossilla colorway is available now through the Super7 online store for $95 each. 

From the annals of time, the terrible creature that said no to extinction, Prehistory Fossilla is here! An ancient asteroid destroyed his world, and he is back with a vengeance! Cast in Volcanic-Ash Grey with black and brown oily-goop spray and blood-red mashed innards under his exposed skeletal remains. This is the first ever painted edition of Joshua Herbolsheimer’s entry into Super7's Destroy All Kaiju! line of standard-sized (9” tall) vintage inspired vinyl figures.

DCon Exclsuive Fossilla Eruption by Josh Herbolsheimer

This has got to be one of the coolest releases The Blot’s ever heard! At Designer Con 2012, Super7 will have on hand a volcano where collectors can pull out a one of a kind painted Fossilla! Josh Herbolsheimer’s fossilized dinosaur stands a massive 9” tall, has five points of articulation (head, arms and legs), and is ready to take a bite out of you! Each figure is colored by the swirling, molten insides of the Earth, and no two are alike! I can’t wait to see what these look like.

Super7’s San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusives

Every year The Blot is blown away by both the quality and the volume of San Diego Comic-Con exclusives Super7 releases.
