Pop! Heroes DC Universe Wave 2 by Funko

The second wave of Funko’s DC Universe Mini Funko Force 2.0 toy line featuring 3.75 inch designer vinyl figures of your favorite DC heroes and villains has been unveiled. Not only that, but the entire toy line has been newly christened “Pop! Heroes.” Pop! Heroes DC Universe Wave 2 includes Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and The Flash. There are no villains this time around, but great do these four figures look!?!

Inspired by designer toys and stylized character collectibles the world over, Funko’s Pop! Heroes vinyl figure toy line brings Funko's house style into the world of plastic figures. The four Pop! Heroes DC Universe Wave 2 figures seen above are currently available for preorder through Entertainment Earth for $7.99 here. They have an expected shipping date of December 2010.

DC Universe Funko Force Bobble Heads Series 1

Funko continues its line of collectible 5 inch Funko Force bobble heads with a new series based on the superheroes and villains of DC Comics. DC Universe Funko Force Bobble Heads Series 1 includes Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, The Joker and Aquaman.


I love Aquaman, but doesn’t his inclusion in Series 1 seem a little surprising? I’m sure Funko was trying to go with the most mainstream DC characters for Series 1, but wouldn’t you include Wonder Woman, Robin, or The Flash over Aquaman? Regardless, I’m sure we’ll be seeing all three of these heroes in bobble head form sometime soon…as we’ve all come to learn, you can’t have a Series 1 without a Series 2!
