Godzilla is fully realized in this statue with a stunning attention to detail, including an array of swappable accessories that recreate specific moments from the movie. This statue is the perfect companion piece to last year’s Mothra: Tokyo SOS statue, creating an epic face-off between the two iconic monsters!

The Godzilla: Tokyo SOS Premium Scale Statue is limited to just 600 pieces. It includes two Mothra larva, a base diorama, a swappable closed lower jaw, a swappable “chomping on Mothra’s legs” lower jaw, a swappable semi-transparent heat ray attack with head, and a swappable tail tip (used to display with or without attached Mothra Larva).

Today marks Godzilla’s 67th birthday, and to celebrate Mondo is teaming up with Toho International on a number of epic officially licensed releases! First up is the third figure in Mondo’s Godzilla Museum Statue Series. The Gojira (1954) Godzilla Museum Statue is a 1/6 scale black and white figure, which stands 7.5” tall (8.25” with base). This release commemorates artist Eiji Tsuburaya’s original design for the character.

The Godzilla Museum Statue Series is a small-scale statue line that will focus on the rich history and alternative universes of the King of Monsters, from its most iconic looks to new artist interpretations. Attack Peter Godzilla Museum Statue by Mondo

Today, Mondo will be releasing the second piece in their exciting new Godzilla Museum Statue Series – the Attack Peter Godzilla. What an epic design by the linocut master! Attack Peter has taken his hand carved linoleum block print art and expanded it into three radical dimensions. As Mondo explained, “His work has already become a staple of the Godzilla art world, so to see him take the reins on this statue is nothing short of fantastic.”

Godzilla: The Animated Series (1970s) Godzilla Museum Statue by Mondo

Mondo has put up for pre-sale the first release in their exciting new Godzilla Museum Statue Series! It is a line that will focus on the rich history and alternative universes of the King of Monsters, from its most iconic looks to new artist interpretations. It kicks things off with this Godzilla: The Animated Series statue based on the ‘70s cartoon television show.

What’s really crazy is that the 1970s Godzilla: The Animated Series Godzilla is the one design that has never been officially released before! This limited edition statue, based off of the iconic series from the ‘70s, evokes the series’ look and feel perfectly with its full cel-like line art and paint application. 

The Godzilla: The Animated Series (1970s) Godzilla Museum Statue stands 7.5” tall (8.25” with base) is made of roto vinyl and PVC and weighs 14oz. SDCC 2021 First Look: Godzilla Museum Attack Peter Statue by Mondo

Last weekend as part of ComicConAtHome 2021, Mondo unveiled their new Godzilla Museum Statue Series! It is a line that will focus on the rich history and alternative universe of the King of Monsters, and begins its Series 1 with statues based on the ‘70s cartoon, Gojira, and an original design by artist Attack Peter. The Blot is blown away by how Mondo transformed Attack Peter’s beautiful linocut block artwork into a 3D statue. It’s almost like they’ve taken one of his super detailed linocut prints and made it come to life!  And according to the artist, this is the first Godzilla figure made from a linocut!

The upcoming Godzilla Museum Attack Peter Statue by Mondo will stand 8.25” tall with base and 7.5” tall without the base (meaning I think the base is removable). The name plaque on the base is also magnetic and removable.  More info on this small scale Godzilla statue series to come!
