Yesterday, Kidrobot released a beautiful new holiday themed series of “Blown Away” custom Dunnys by Josh Mayhem. This limited edition Holiday Blown Away Series features 3”, 5” and 8” versions of Mayhem’s popular Blown Away Dunny customs in festive colorways. The Blown Away Dunny has been modified with resin drips and acrylic paints to create a windswept appearance. One of the coolest custom Dunnys The Blot’s seen in a very long time was Josh Mayhem’s Blown Away 8” Dunny. Josh is revisiting that design for New York Comic Con 2014 with the release of a new blind box “Blown Away” 3 inch Dunny Series! Blown Away Series 1 takes that original design and modifies it with resin drips and acrylic paints to create a killer windswept appearance. Mayhem has released five colorful UV reactive 3” Blown Away Dunnys with a very special translucent chase variant. Each figure retails for $100 and can be purchased at the Clutter NYCC booth #504.

The Iron Giant Custom 3” Dunny by Josh Mayhem

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the The Iron Giant film, talented artist Josh Mayhem was commissioned to create an Iron Giant 3” Dunny. Inspired by the animated robot from the feature film of the same name, this amazing custom was designed using a Dunny head with added sculpted elements, and the torso is actually an upside down Dunny body mashed with assorted Gundam kit pieces. How crazy is this The Iron Giant Dunny!?! It looks spot on!

NYCC 12 Exclusive Gunny Series 1 Custom Dunnys by Josh Mayhem

Josh Mayhem has been producing some amazing mechanical custom vinyl figures for a while now, and every release blows me away with all the details he includes on his pieces. While I’ve never been into Gundam Wing, I was totally blown away by Josh’s new Gunny Series 1. This series of custom 3” Dunnys and Fatcaps is based on the hit Japanese anime series and each piece that I’ve seen really looks spot on!

New York Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive Gunny Series 1 will be available throughout the convention at Tenacious Toys’ NYCC booth #3121.
