Mondo has released the third (and possibly final) colorway of Mike Mitchell’s adorable Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles designer vinyl figure Lil Mikey! Based on Mitchell’s Just Like Us print series, Lil' Mikey is a direct translation of his take on Michelangelo. What’s really crazy is that to the best of The Blot’s knowledge Mondo did not even publicize the release of the Blank Lil’ Mikey! Mitchell fans will definitely not want to miss out on this super limited surprise release.

The Blank Edition Lil’ Mikey is an all white do it yourself colorway that includes a TMNT ice ream on a popsicle stick and comes packaged in white and gray color box. This officially licensed 9” premium collectible vinyl figure is limited to just 100 pieces and can be purchased at the Mondo online store now for $85.

Based on Mitchell’s Just Like Us print series and scheduled to be released exclusively at MondoCon 2015, the Red & Gray Variant Lil' Mikey harkens back to the days when the TMNT comics were black & white and all of the turtles donned red masks. This 9” premium collectible vinyl figure looks spot on to Mike’s original illustration, comes packaged in a full color box and will be limited to just 100 pieces.

Last July at San Diego Comic Con 2014 Mondo gave the world its first look Mike Mitchell’s “Lil Mikey” Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vinyl figure. Fans worldwide have been talking about this officially licensed designer art toy ever since, and just yesterday it went up for pre-sale at the Mondo online store! Based on Mitchell’s Michaelangelo TMNT print from his popular “Like Us” series, this 9” premium collectible vinyl figure looks spot on to Mike’s original illustration. And yes, before you even ask, The Blot will totally be buying one of these! It helps that Mikey has always been my favorite Ninja Turtle.

Mike Mitchell, explaining the significance of this release, stated “If I had $5 when I was a kid, it was going to be spent on a ninja turtle figure. So much of my childhood was defined by TMNT, I watched every episode, I had the toys, the shirts, the games, the comics. I wish I could say "Lil Mikey" was a dream come true, but I never could have fathomed this happening.” The Lil Mikey vinyl figure is now available for pre-order at the Mondo online store for $105 (which includes free worldwide shipping). The figure is scheduled to ship in Q1 2015.
