Mutant has released a gorgeous new 2001: A Space Odyssey movie poster by artist Matthew Woodson!  As Mutant explained, “In 2017 we worked with artist Matthew Woodson on a beautiful poster for Stanley Kubrick’s masterpiece of science fiction, 2001: A Space Odyssey. The dawn of man was the beginning. It dropped our jaws and broke our brains. Woodson’s work will have that effect on you. Marvel Studios’ Daredevil: Born Again Screen Print by Matthew Woodson x CODA x Sideshow Collectibles

CODA and Sideshow Collectibles have teamed up to release this epic new poster by artist Matthew Woodson for Marvel Studios’ latest Disney+ streaming series, Daredevil: Born Again!  The Blot was thrilled to learn Woodson would be revisiting Charlie Cox’ Daredevil after Matthew killed it on his previously released prints for Netflix’ Marvel streaming series.

MondoCon 2019 Exclusive 2001: A Space Odyssey Soundtrack Vinyl Records by Mondo

Mondo continues to unveil its diverse line-up of officially licensed exclusives for MondoCon 2019! Check out this really cool MondoCon 5 Exclusive 2001: A Space Odyssey Original Motion Picture Score on 2xLP vinyl records featuring a die-cut gatefold jacket designed by artist Matthew Woodson.

This MondoCon exclusive variant two disc set will be the first time the remastered soundtrack has been released on vinyl. Alex North’s iconic score was remastered at Abbey Road Studios and cut at 45 RPM. The 2001 soundtrack was then pressed on two 180 gram colored vinyl. It will also be available on two 180 gram black vinyl. It will be available exclusively at Mondo’s booth for $40.

Today, Mondo honors two celebrated cinematic classics: Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo and Psycho with movie posters by Matthew Woodson and Phantom City Creative respectively. The minute The Blot saw Matthew Woodson's beautiful artwork for the Luke Cage, Daredevil and Jessica Jones vinyl soundtracks, I instantly hoped Mondo would also release it as a series of screen prints. I even made a plea to Woodson on Instagram! Thankfully Mondo had the same thought, and at a random time today, Wednesday, November 10th, they’ll be releasing this awesome poster set at the Mondo online store.  These striking posters will look seriously amazing as a set on somebody's wall, don't you think!?!

Daredevil and Luke Cage are 18”x24” hand numbered screen prints, while Jessica Jones is a 24”x18” hand numbered screen print. Each poster is limited to 250 pieces and will retail for $45. What’s even cooler, is that all three of The Defenders screen prints will feature a layer of spot varnish to bring different elements of the illustration to life.

Marvel’s Daredevil Season One Original Soundtrack LP ($25) with music by John Paesano and artwork by Matthew Woodson is pressed on 180 gram red vinyl and limited to 3,000 copies. John Paesano's score for Marvel’s Daredevil Season One had the unenviable task of setting the tone for Netflix’ new Marvel television universe. Right from the opening credits Paesano creates a powerful sense of urgency and an undercurrent of darkness, crafting some of the most kinetic musical sequences in the Marvel Cinematic Universe including the bombastic tracks “Hallway Fight” and “Stick”.

Marvel's Luke Cage Original Soundtrack 2xLP Vinyl Records by Matthew Woodson & Mondo

Yesterday at New York Comic Con 2016 Mondo unveiled their newest vinyl release, and it’s the soundtrack for Marvel’s Luke Cage television series with collectible artwork of the bulletproof hero by Matthew Woodson! Composers Adrian Younge (Something About April) and Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest) have combined forces to produce one of the best scores of 2016 featuring an inspired, genre-bending blend of orchestral score and 90s hip-hop beats, filtered through the sonic lens of the works of Ennio Morricone.

It's no surprise that the score hovers in the same terrain of the Spaghetti Western soundtracks of Morricone - the narrative of Luke Cage plays out like a modern Western, only set in Harlem. Younge and Muhammad have meticulously crafted one of the most unique sonic landscapes in the history of television. "We sought to create a score that reflects the world of Luke Cage. We see this world as a place where classic cinema meets classic Hip Hop," said composers Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad.

Marvel's Luke Cage Original Soundtrack 2xLP Vinyl Records features an original score by Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and cover artwork by Matthew Woodson.
