Avengers Assemble Marvel Micro Muggs Blind Box Series 1 by Hasbro

The Blot will always have a soft spot in my heart for Hasbro’s Mighty Muggs toy line. It’s the vinyl figure that just won’t die! Hasbro is bringing back its once popular Mighty Muggs platform for an all new Marvel blind box series entitled “Avengers Assemble.” Each figure in the Avengers Assemble Micro Muggs Series stands 1.75” tall and will be sold blind box style.

The Avengers Assemble Micro Muggs Series includes 24 of the Marvel Universe’s most powerful heroes and villains, with Series 1 including 12 characters: Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Nick Fury, Hawkeye, Loki, Red Skull, Ultron, Kang and MODOK. The Blot’s gotta get a MODOK!

Collectors can purchase the new Avengers Assemble Marvel Micro Muggs now from Entertainment Earth as a 6 pack of blind boxes for $18.99 here or a case of 24 blind boxes for $73.99 here.

Mavel's Iron Man 3 Micro Mighty Muggs Blind Box Series by Hasbro

Even though The Blot’s known about this Iron Man 3 Micro Muggs Blind Box Series for a while, we finally got a look at the entire series thanks to Hasbro’s booth at Toy Fair 2013 last week. I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that Hasbro’s full size Mighty Muggs line is probably gone for good, but I still can’t get into these 1.75” Micro Muggs. I get why Hasbro would want to shrink their popular platform figure to compete in the rising collectible micro figure market, but it’s just not the same! Then again I think these micro figures are probably looking to bring in younger collectors.

Marvel’s Iron Man 3 Micro Muggs Series is based on 2013's eagerly anticipated summer blockbuster and comes individually blind-boxed for $2.99 each. There are 24 unique armors across two waves to collect! While I’ve heard Wave 1 of this series is currently hitting store shelves everywhere, you can pick up an entire Iron Man 3 Micro Muggs Series 1 case, which includes 36 blind boxes of the first 12 designs, from Entertainment Earth for $109.99 here. Marvel’s Avengers Assemble Micro Mighty Muggs Set

Hasbro unveiled a ton of new Marvel toys last week at Toy Fair 2013, but my favorite announcement was this Avengers Assemble Micro Muggs Set! It includes 2” Micro Mighty Muggs of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the Incredible Hulk based on their looks in the new animated series Avengers Assemble on Disney DX. It looks like Hasbro has all but abandoned its full size Mighty Muggs line but thankfully it hasn’t given up on the platform. With the rise in popularity of collectible micro figures it only makes sense that Hasbro would shrink their only platform figure they’ve had any success with.

NYCC 12 First Look: Iron Man 3 Micro Mighty Muggs

It’s official, Hasbro’s Mighty Muggs is the toy line that wouldn’t die!!! Hasbro unveiled at New York Comic-Con 2012 an all new Iron Man 3 Micro Muggs toy line. Is it me or does Hasbro keep shrinking their Mighty Muggs figures? While The Blot was ok with their 3” Mini Muggs, these 1.75” Micro Muggs are just way too small. Not only that, but they’re going to be sold blind bagged! It seems like Hasbro and Marvel are trying to cash in on the cheap blind bagged vinyl figure craze at the expense of their Mighty Muggs line. At least the Tony Stark Micro Muggs look pretty cool!  This 24 piece Iron Man 3 Micro Muggs toy line is expected to hit stores in February 2013 and retail for $1.99 each.
