MondoCon 2019 Exclusive Disney’s Fantasia Enamel Pins by Nicolas Delort x Mondo

Mondo continues to unveil its officially licensed exclusives for MondoCon 2019 each day this week. Check out these wonderful enamel pins based on Disney’s Fantasia by Nicolas Delort! The Blot loves how the card backs for these pins look like actual backgrounds from the film, which when combined with the pins by Delort create a classic scene from the movie. The screen print is a dramatic rendering of the Wicked Witch in her lair as she spies upon Dorothy and her friends traveling down the yellow brick road. What The Blot found really fascinating about this piece is that Delort actually worked from original 1939 Wizard of Oz production stills! Pretty cool, right!?!

The War of the Worlds Prints by Nicolas Delort x Black Dragon Press

This weekend at Thought Bubble 2016, Black Dragon Press will be releasing a beautiful new poster for The War of the Worlds by Nicolas Delort! Based on the H. G. Wells sci-fi classic, The War of the Worlds screen print features many of the classic elements collectors have come to expect from Delort’s iconic style: billowing clouds, spectacular lightning, huge looming entities and that beautifully menacing atmosphere. Dark Hall Mansion has announced the next movie poster in its fantastic DHM Seminal Film Series, and it’s King Kong by Nicolas Delort! Based on the classic 1933 film, Delort's vision for this piece was to tell Kong's tale by showcasing him in his own domain. The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit Screen Prints by Aaron Horkey, Ken Taylor & Nicolas Delort

Later today Mondo will be releasing three epic prints based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s iconic middle-earth books. First up is Aaron Horkey's The Fellowship of the Ring, which is the final screen print in his amazing Lord of the Rings poster series that's been three years in the making. The poster depicts Gandalf's battle against the Balrog in the Mines of Moria with an incredible attention to detail.

To celebrate the release of the The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies in theaters this week, Mondo will also be releasing movie posters for the previous two The Hobbit films, An Unexpected Journey by Ken Taylor and The Desolation of Smaug by Nicolas Delort.
