Andrew Bell’s “Back to Back Black” Toy Release Tour Launches at NYCC 14!

myplasticheart will be hosting the first wing of Andrew Bell’s “Back to Back Black” toy release tour at New York Comic Con 2014! This tour featuring some of Andrew’s favorite creations in his classic black on black colorway, with a few red and white accents thrown in for good measure. The “Back to Back Black” Tour includes the “Squid Ink” O-No Sushi ($35), Blackest Knight Edition Last Knight ($75), “Blackened” O-No Sashimi ($45), “Nightcrawler” Can of Worms ($55), Black Gold Edition Dealmaker ($35) and “Black Box” Glop in a Box ($120). Please note, the Glob in a Box will not be sold separately and is only available as part of the “Back to Back Black” bundle, which includes all 6 pieces for $350.

All “Back to Back Black” figures come signed and numbered by Andrew Bell and can be purchased at the myplasticheart NYCC booth #113. These figures will also be released at Designer Con 2014 on November 8th, and online at the Dead Zebra online store on November 28th (Black Friday of course).

Rivet Exclusive Grey Zombie Edition O-No Sashimi by Andrew Bell

The newest O-No Sashimi vinyl figure by Andrew Bell dropped this week and it’s a beauty! Sold exclusively at Rivet Gallery in Columbus, Ohio, this Zombie Grey Edition O-No Sashimi has a limited edition run size of just 150 pieces and retails for the low, low price of $40. Each figure includes replaceable and rotatable eyes, attachable fins, body segments, and a bowl accessory that the tail can be placed into. Packaged in a supermarket style fish tray, you can pick one up now from Rivet’s online store while supplies last!

SGTCC Exclusive Redfish in Coconut O-No Sashimi by Andrew Bell

Andrew Bell will be heading to Singapore as one of the special guests at the 2011 Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention taking place August 20-21, and he’s taking with him an all new and extremely limited edition O-No Sashimi colorway! Based on the colors and iconography of the Singaporean flag, this very special edition O-No Sashimi will only be available at SGTCC. The SGTCC 2011 Exclusive Redfish in Coconut O-No Sashimi vinyl figure by Andrew Bell has a limited edition run size of only 150 pieces and will retail for 50SGD each.

SDCC 2011 Exclusive Blue O-No Sashimi Vinyl Figure by Andrew Bell

Based on his popular “Never Look Back II” print, Andrew Bell’s O-No Sashimi is scheduled to make its delicious vinyl debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2011 with not 1 but 2 different colorways: the Standard Edition Green O-No Sashimi and the limited edition SDCC 2011 Exclusive Blue O-No Sashimi. Both versions include delicious fish bits, two sets of eyes and a bowl all packaged in a supermarket fresh display tray.

The OG Green colorway is not a SDCC exclusive, retails for $35 each and will be hitting toy and specialty shops worldwide shortly after the convention. On the other hand, the SDCC 2011 Exclusive Blue O-No Sashimi has a limited edition run size of 250 pieces and will retail for $40 each. There is some hope for those of us unable to attend SDCC this year. Since it has become impossible to get into Comic-Con these days, Bell will be holding a number of Blue Sashimis back for online sales through his Dead Zebra webstore.

First Look: O-No Sashimi Vinyl Figure by Andrew Bell

Andrew Bell first previewed the painted master resin sculpt of his upcoming O-No Sashimi vinyl figure in San Diego 2010…and then nothing! Well that all changed yesterday, when he unveiled the first official photo of this exciting new figure yesterday. While The Blot doesn’t know too many details, Bell did let it slip that the first opportunity collectors will have to catch his O-No Sashimi will be at SDCC 2011! The Standard Edition Green O-No Sashimi will debut this summer in San Diego, along with a possible SDCC 2011 Exclusive colorway…any guess what color that might be?

If you can't make it to San Diego this year, don’t worry! Andrew will definitely have some of the green O-No Sashimi colorway available online and in stores after SDCC 2011. More details to come for sure!
