Danger Dog OG Edition 5” Vinyl Figure by Tenacious Toys

Five Points Fest 2018 Exclusive Bluenose Danger Bulldog Resin Figure by NEMO x Tenacious Toys

Tenacious Toys has teamed up with NEMO to release a Five Points Festival 2018 exclusive colorway of TT’s store mascot, Danger! The Five Points Fest exclusive Bluenose Danger Dog stands 2” and is limited to just 3 pieces. Based on an illustration by Playful Gorilla, Danger was sculpted and painted by Mike “NEMO” Mendez. Collectors can purchase one this weekend at the Tenacious Toys FPF booth #234 for $40. Blanks will also be available for $20 each.

Chinese New Year Edition Danger Bulldog Resin Figure by Tenacious Toys

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Tenacious Toys has released a limited edition Red Variant of their store mascot, Danger! As Tenacious Toys explained, “red is an auspicious color for the Chinese, so we had this little dude cast in red and bagged with a festive and totally on-brand header card fashioned after the lucky red envelopes handed out this time of year.”

Based on illustration by Playful Gorilla, Danger was sculpted by Mike “NEMO” Mendez and molded, cast, finished and painted by Brian Ahlbeck of Dead Hand Toys. Tenacious Toys Pitbull Mascot Danger Blue Edition Resin Figure

Tenacious Toys announced this week that it will be releasing a collectible resin figure of its awesome pitbull mascot, Danger! Based on the Tenacious Toys logo designed by Playful Gorilla, this awesome new figure made its debut in the Resin Is King Series 3 in various pitbull appropriate colors. Now for its first standalone colorway, Danger is being released in a Tenacious Toys blue color scheme based on Playful Gorilla’s original image.

Each Blue Edition Danger Resin Figure stands 2.25” tall and comes boxed with a 3” Tenacious sticker. Sculpted by NEMO and molded, cast, finished and painted by Brian Ahlbeck of Dead Hand Toys, Danger is an open run in this Tenacious Blue colorway but there are only 30 available currently. Playful Gorilla and Cash Cannon have assembled a who’s who of artists for this weekend’s The Arsenal of Artists “No Toon Left Behind!” Group Art Show, which pays tribute to a time long gone when Saturday mornings were for sitting in front of your television set and watching nothing but cartoons! While the landscape of children’s TV has changed forever, those of us who grew up in the ‘70s and ‘80s remember what it was like spending those early weekend hours watching some of the most ridiculous awesome animated shows of all time.

The Arsenal of Artists gather this Saturday, August 15th, from 4-9pm at the Suburban Vinyl Art Gallery in Waldwick, NJ to raise their voices and recall their memories leaving no ‘toon behind! “No Toon Left Behind!” will feature the biggest lineup of the summer, which includes unbelievably roster of talented artists ranging from toy artists to customizers, from digital illustrators to 3D artists. Each participating artist will bring original artwork with a cartoony twist throwing back to their favorite childhood memories.
