NYCC 2019 Exclusive Vintage Gold Action Figure Series by Lou Pimentel x DKE Toys

Lou Pimnetel’s epic Vintage Gold Action Figure Series returns with a new wave of figures for New York Comic Con 2019! For this release, artist Lou Pimentel hand painted 20 different cardbacks. Each original watercolor is on a 6”x9” backer card and has a vintage toy mounted on the front. The series is called Vintage Gold and retail is $165 each at the DKE Toys NYCC booth #575.

SDCC 2018 Exclusive Robotech Hunter Figure by Huck Gee x BAIT

Ok, The Blot has absolutely no idea what the story is behind this figure, but … but … it’s a new Robotech figure by freaking Huck Gee! Is it real? Did I imagine this? Is it vinyl… is it resin? Who knows, but it’s freaking Robotech by Huck Gee! So all I really can report is this San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Exclusive Robotech Hunter figure by Huck Gee and BAIT will be available in two colorways, a Bronze Edition and a Beige / Sail Edition, and they will retail for $120 each. The only way to get one (or to find out more) is to head over to the BAIT SDCC booth next week and get them both!

As Huck explained, “For me, this was the collaboration of a lifetime. Robotech was THE defining animated series of my youth. At the time, it was an imagined world far beyond anything I had ever seen. Mech designs, characters and stories that heavily influenced my pre-teen mind. Still to this day, I hold the Cyclone as one of my favorite mech designs ever. And while I've dipped my toes into Robotech for inspiration in the past, this is an officially licensed endeavor. Not only a collaboration but, for the eagle eyed, attention detailed fan, I may have also re-defined some Cyclone canon. :) What can I say, I like to break things.”
