Nooka x Sanrio Watches by Tokidoki

Last weekend Love Through Design launched an exclusive new Nooka x Sanrio watch collection designed by Tokidoki! The first release in this exciting new series is the limited edition Nooka Zub Zirc 38 watch designed by Simone Legno, the creator of Tokidoki, features some of Sanrio’s most iconic characters, including Hello Kitty. This Nooka x Sanrio x Tokidoki watch collection has been created to raise money for the Sanrio Foundation, whose mission is to bring smiles to children around the world. Through product donations, Hello Kitty’s hospital visits and partnerships with International organizations, Sanrio Foundation is a true embodiment of Sanrio’s “small gift, big smile” philosophy.

Cactus Rockers Vinyl Figures by Tokidoki

Tokidoki revealed the latest star in its Cactus Friends family: Cactus Rocker! Groupies everywhere will undoubtedly flock to acquire the latest character in the Cactus Friends collection. Beginning in June, Cactus Rocker Red will be available nationwide, however Cactus Rocker Blue will only be available at Tokidoki retail stores, Tokidoki.it, and Tokidoki special events (certain to cause mayhem amongst tokidoki fans).

Both Tokidoki Cactus Rockers stand 6” tall, with a retail price of $24.95 for Cactus Rocker Red, and $39.95 for the Tokidoki Exclusive Cactus Rocker Blue.

Marvel x Tokidoki Frenzies Mini-Figures Zipper Pulls Blind Box Series

All of your favorite Marvel characters, from Spider-Man to Doctor Doom, from Wolverine to the Mighty Thor, have been given a cute and colorful makeover by Simone Legno of Tokidoki, and these happy visions of your Marvel favorites are now given physical form with these new Marvel x Tokidoki Frenzies Mini-Figures Zipper Pulls Blind Box Series. These little figures showed up in the latest issue of Previews Magazine, and The Blot knows they will be a big hit with both comic book fans and Tokidoki fans alike.

The collaboration between Tokidoki and the Marvel Universe seems to be popular one. Clothing featuring Tokidoki versions of Marvel’s heroes and villains have been popping up in stores around the country, and now they’ll be released in 3D form as a part of the new Marvel x Tokidoki Frenzies Mini-Figures Zipper Pulls Blind Box Series. As miniature zipper pulls, you can affix them to just about anything, your jacket, bag, cell phone or keychain. The Marvel x Tokidoki Frenzies Mini-Figures Zipper Pulls will be sold in blind box mystery packaging starting in June 2011 and will retail for around $6 each.

Kidorobot Tokidoki 8 Inch Dunny

Tomorrow, Thursday July 24th, sees the SDCC Release of Kidrobot’s Tokidoki 8 inch Dunny. This figure’s description is really a scam though because the figure is not a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive at all, it is just being launched at SDCC. The $50.00 figure will also be available tomorrow online at the Kidrobot.com store and possibly brick and mortar stores around the country.


I really don’t care for Tokidoki’s style, but it is hard to argue against the brand’s huge popularity. Tokidoki products seem to be eveywhere these days and the brand keeps expanding from toys, plushes and clothing to now including things such as soccer balls and skate decks. This 8” Tokidoki Dunny is a “pizza-adoring Dunny with a Moofia face and ADIOS’s Italians alter ego on the back.” (link) If you’re at SDCC 2008 this weekend you can stop by the Tokidoki booth all weekend or the Kidrobot booth #4529 on Sunday, July 27th from 11am-2pm and have Kidrobot’s latest 8” Dunny autographed by Tokidoki’s own Simone Legno.
