Each Transformers vs G.I. Joe art figure is currently available in two different colorways. G.I. Joe’s Cobra Commander comes in a classic Blue Edition and a limited edition Kidrobot.com exclusive Black Edition (LE 200), while Megatron has a classic Gray Edition and a Kidrobot.com exclusive Purple Edition (LE 200). Diamond and IDW are teaming up to release an epic San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusive variant cover for the first issue of IDW’s newest ongoing series Transformers vs. G.I. Joe! Transformers vs. G.I. Joe #1 is written by Tom Scioli and John Barber with artwork by Tom Scioli. This is the story of the first time Earth makes contact with an alien race (the Transformers), and G.I. Joe is on the front lines of first contact! But when the Transformers arrive, their version of “peace” does not match our own! This San Diego Comic-Con 2014 release is available in 3 limited edition exclusives: Covers A and B are limited to 3,000 copies each, while the Incentive Cover C Wraparound version is limited to just 600 copies.
