Kranky Mini Figure Blind Box Series 1 by Superplastic

The Blot was thrilled to learn yesterday that Superplastic is releasing a new blind box artist series of Kranky mini figures!!! Kranky is an awesome mash-up by Sket One of Superplastic’s Janky platform vinyl figure with a Krylon spray can. For Kranky Series One, Superplastic has enlisted 14 amazing graffiti and street artists to put their unique art styles onto the Kranky platform.  The Blot especially loves to see how they’ve incorporated the removable cap into their designs.

Each Kranky mini figure is 3.5” of soft vinyl, features a removable cap and actually rattle just like your favorite spray paint cans! Artists in Kranky Series One include 123Klan, ADD FUEL, CHEO, Clogtwo, CRAOLA, Dalek, DELVS, Flying Fortress, MIST, REDS, Scribe, Sket One, TooFly and a mystery artist. Each design will have its own ratios for a variety of rarities like you’d expect with a blind box series. And along with the designs seen here, be on the lookout for some super secret, ultra exclusive, barely any made alternate colorways.

Collectors can purchase Kranky Series One now at Superplastic.co. Blind Box retail for $15 each, or you can buy a full case of 12 blind boxes for $150.  And the first 140 people that purchase 2 or more cases will receive the unreleased and super limited variant colorway of the Sket One Police Kranky!

TOOFLY x kaNO Bodega Vinyl Figure

After a much too long hiatus kaNO’s popular Bodega vinyl figure is back!!! Completely retooled and now self-produced, the new Bodega features a clearer body, an all new swivel head, and more secure packaging then the previous version. For Bodega 2.0’s inaugural release kaNO has teamed up with four amazing artists to produce a sick Bodega Artist Edition Series. To kick things off comes the TOOFLY Bodega!

This collaboration features a beautiful design by art power house NYC artist TOOFLY, who is known for her murals and graphics depicting strong minded female icons. The TOOFLY Bodega features 5 points of articulation, stands at 5" tall, and includes brass knuckles and a box cutter. It has a limited edition run size of just 100 pieces, and retails for $45. Kidrobot Dunny Fatale Series Official Checklist and Ratios

We’re just two days away from the release of Kidrobot’s new Dunny Fatale 3” Blind Box Series and The Blot is getting pretty excited! To help fuel fans’ excitement, Kidrobot has finally released the official Dunny Fatale Series Checklist and Ratios. It looks like The Baroness’ Kiss of Death Dunny is in fact 1/200, which kind of sucks, but there are so many other amazing designs in the Dunny Fatale Series I’ll let The Baroness’ unfortunate ratio slide.

Kidrobot has finally made an official announcement concerning the release of their next 3 inch blind box series, Dunny Fatale! The Dunny Femme Fatale series features designs from 18 prominent and talented female artists. Some are cute and sweet while others are bold and cruel, but all are irresistible. Photos of the series leaked almost two months ago, so it’s nice to see Kidrobot finally acknowledge this awesome looking mini figure series.


Each blind boxed 3” Dunny retails for $7.95, comes with a trading card and some include accessories. These Femme Fatale Dunnys start seducing collectors in late January at select retailers, Kidrobot stores and on Kidrobot.com.

It’s amazing what leaks the moment The Blot goes off grid for a few days to get engaged! Thankfully, an anonymous source was kind enough to forward me the photo below, which features the checklist of Kidrobot’s long rumored 3” Femme Fatale Dunny Series. The upcoming series is aptly named, since it features a veritable who’s who of the world’s top female artists.


The Blot’s not sure when Kidrobot’s next 3 inch Dunny Series will be released, but the line-up and designs have the internet a buzz! Which design is your favorite!?!
