Daniel Faraday Lost Bobble Head

Ever since Bif Bang Pow! announced the release of its SDCC exclusive Lost Benjamin Linus bobble head last summer, The Blot’s been anxiously awaiting the release of the company’s next Lost bobble head. While I never would have guessed the three characters Bif Bang Pow! chose to include in its first wave of Lost bobble heads, it is pretty cool to see some legendary second tier characters get their moment in the sun. First up is the Daniel Faraday bobble head!

The Lost Daniel Faraday bobble head stands inquisitively on top of his equation-filled notebook with Eloise the rat perched on his shoulder. The Professor Dan Faraday bobble head is made out of resin and stands 7" tall. This awesome Lost bobble head of the too smart for his own good freightee will not be shipped until January 2010, but it is available for pre-order here from EntertainmentEarth.com for $12.99.

Hugo “Hurley” Reyes Mr. Cluck’s Lost Bobble Head

The sixth Lost bobble head from Bif Bang Pow! has been announced, and it features everyone’s favorite speaker to the dead, Hugo “Hurley” Reyes! I have mixed emotions about the Hugo Reyes Mr. Cluck’s Lost bobble head because while I love Hurley, I wish they had produced a generic Hurley bobble head first instead of an Australian outback Hurley (as he appeared in the Mr. Cluck’s Chicken Shack commercial).

The Hugo Hurley Reyes Mr. Cluck’s Lost 7 Inch Bobble Head by Bif Bang Pow!
While it’s not my favorite version of Hurley, I do love Bif Bang Pow!’s line of Lost bobble heads, and this is definitely another must get. The Hugo Reyes Mr. Cluck’s Lost bobble head stands on a base featuring Mr. Cluck’s Chicken Shack logo and comes holding a boomerang. The Hurley bobble head is made out of resin and stands 7" tall. While the bobble head won’t ship until August 2010, it is available for pre-order here from EntertainmentEarth.com right now for $12.99.

SDCC 2010 Exclusive Claire Littleton LOST Bobble Head

The 2nd San Diego Comic-Con 2010 exclusive form Bif Bang Pow! and Entertainment Earth is the Claire Littleton Lost bobble head. But don’t confuse this bobble head with the sweet and innocent Claire we all remember from Seasons 1-5 of Lost. No, this is the scary, crazy Claire from Lost’s sixth and final season! Not only does Crazy Claire have that twisted look in her eye and disheveled appearance, but she also comes toting her trusty rifle and that scary looking squirrel baby made from a rotting skull and the fur of dead animals.

San Diego Comic-Con 2010 Exclusive Claire Littleton LOST Bobble Head by Bif Bang Pow! and Entertainment Earth
With the release of a Season 6 Claire Littleton bobble head, I’m starting to think Bif Bang Pow! knows a little more about Lost than the rest of us! They really threw me for a loop when they went with the squirrel baby instead of ole’ turnip head himself, Aaron. The Crazy Claire Lost bobble head stands 7 inches tall, made of resin and features superb detail that’s accurate to the mega-popular television series Lost.

This SDCC 2010 exclusive is a limited edition of 1,500 pieces and can be yours for just $14.99. If you’re going to San Diego Comic-Con you can pick up the Claire Lost bobble head from the Entertainment Earth booth #2343. Or, for those of us worried about missing out, you can preorder this great collectible figure directly from EE here.

SDCC 2011 Exclusive Dharma Polar Bear LOST Bobble Head

San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Entertainment Earth Exclusive LOST Dharma Initiative Polar Bear Bobble Head by Bif Bang Pow!

Yesterday, Entertainment Earth announced Bif Bang Pow!’s San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Exclusive LOST Bobble Head will be the Dharma Polar! How crazy is that!?! Deftly crafted out of resin, this sensational Dharma Polar Bear bobble head stands 5.5” long x 4.25” tall x 2 .5” wide, and features superb show accurate details. Wearing a Dharma Initiative collar, this “killer” bobble head stands ready to strike on a base featuring a cage wall and a fish biscuit. I mean come on, the fish biscuit alone makes this a can’t miss SDCC exclusive!

It’s hard to believe it’s been 2 whole years since Bif Bang Pow! released its very first LOST bobble head at San Diego Comic-Con 2009. Where has the time gone!?! Sadly, this will be the toy company’s 12th and final LOST bobble head. I was really bummed to learn this will be the company’s last LOST release, but at least the line is going out with a bang! It’ll be interesting to see if anyone else picks up the show’s license.

If you’re planning to attend SDCC 2011, be sure to stop by the Entertainment Earth booth to pick up the LOST Dharma Initiative Polar Bear Bobble Head by Bif Bang Pow! For the rest of us, you can pre-order one here from EntertainmentEarth.com for $14.99. The resin figure won’t ship until August 2011, but it’ll definitely be worth the wait.

Dr. Edgar Halliwax Lost Bobble Head

The second all new Lost bobble head from the folks at Bif Bang Pow! features everyone’s favorite member of the Dharma Initiative and the star of its orientation films, Dr. Edgar Halliwax a.k.a. Pierre Chang a.k.a. Marvin Candle a.k.a. Mark Wickmund. We learned a ton about Dr. Pierre Chang over the course of Lost Season 5, and The Blot has a feeling there’s much more in store for the good doctor in Lost’s sixth and final season. Now all we need is a Miles Straume Lost bobble head and we’ll finally be able to recreate the island’s most heartwarming family reunion in our very own living rooms.

SDCC 09 Exclusive Benjamin Linus Lost Bobble Head

The Blot’s not all that into bobble heads but I am obsessed with ABC’s Lost, so this is one bobble head that has definitely piqued my interest! The San Diego Comic Con 2009 exclusive Ben Linus bobble head is “the first in a line of all-new action figures and bobble heads based on the ABC Series” to be released by manufacturer by Bif Bang Pow! (link) This creepy Benjamin "Ben" Linus Lost Bobble Head will be available exclusively at Entertainment Earth’s SDCC booth #2343.

San Diego Comic Con 2009 Exclusive Benjamin Linus Lost Bobble Head by Bif Bang Pow!
What’s best about this Ben Linus Bobble Head is that he comes bruised and bloodied with his arm in a sling. I’m not sure if that is from Ben’s run-in with Desmond and Penny last season or his first encounter with Sayid way back in Season 2, but it's pretty cool looking either way. The mysterious Other once known only as Henry Gale comes standing on a Dharma Initiative logo base and packaged in a black and white Dharma Initiative box. The SDCC 09 exclusive Benjamine Linus Lost Bobble Head is limited to 1,008 pieces and will retail for price $17 each (limit two per person).

John Locke Lost Bobble Head

Bif Bang Pow! has announced the production of its fourth Lost bobble head, and this time it features one of the hit ABC television show’s main characters, John Locke! And we’re not talking about a bobble head featuring FLocke or wannabe leader of the Others Locke, no this bobble head is of everyone’s favorite version of the Terry O’Quinn character, the stoic and mystical John Locke from Lost Season 1!

The John Locke Lost bobble head stands on a base of the Island, and comes holding an orange and one of his famous knives. The John Locke bobble head is made out of resin and stands 7" tall. Bif Bang Pow! did an amazing job with this wobbler’s head, and while it won’t ship until August 2010, it is available for pre-order here from EntertainmentEarth.com right now for $12.99.

Richard Alpert Lost Bobble Head

The third Lost bobble head from toy maker Bif Bang Pow! is the figure The Blot’s the most excited about because it features the immortal Other, Richard Alpert. Seemingly ageless on the show, this mysterious member of The Others appears physically the same in present day as in flashbacks going back as far as the 1950s. Nestor Carbonell’s Richard is my favorite second tier Lost character, and I can’t wait for Lost Season 6 to start so we can finally learn what Richard’s true role is on the island!

The Richard Alpert 7 Inch Lost Bobble Head
The Lost Richard Alpert bobble head stands on a temple-themed base overgrown with vines with a torch in hand that's reminiscent of those key moments on the island. "What lies in the shadow of the statue?" you may ask? The answer is engraved at his feet: "Ille qui nos omnes servabit." But what that phrase means is the real question. This awesome Lost bobble head is made out of resin, stands 7" tall and can be pre-ordered here from EntertainmentEarth.com for $12.99. Unfortunately these Lost Wave 1 bobble heads will not ship until January 2010, but what is time really?

Jack Shephard LOST Bobble Head

It was exactly 1 year ago today that LOST Season 6 premiered on ABC! In honor of this special day, The Blot Says… will be all LOST all day long! First up is the all new Jack Shephard bobble head from Bif Bang Pow! Now you too can own a bobble head version of everyone’s favorite ex-spinal surgeon and de facto leader of the survivors of Oceanic flight 815.

Jack Shephard 7 Inch LOST Bobble Head by Bif Bang Pow

Bif Bang Pow! did a really great job on this figure. Not only does it look just like Matthew Fox, but he comes standing on a base that includes a piece of plane wreckage and Vincent the dog! The Jack Shephard LOST bobble head is made out of resin and stands 7" tall. While the bobble head won’t ship until June 2011, it is available for pre-order here from EntertainmentEarth.com right now for $12.99.

Desmond Hume LOST Bobble Head

The Blot is pretty sure when news leaked of an all new Desmond LOST bobble head was about to be released LOST fans around the world got very, very excited. The show’s popular time traveling Scotsman is depected here in bobble head form wearing a traditional Dharma Initiative jumpsuit while typing in the numbers to that dreaded computer from the Swan Station.

Dr. Leslie Arzt LOST Bobble Head

The fourth and final all new LOST bobble head by Bif Bang Pow! is the bumbling high school science teacher Dr. Leslie Arzt. While LOST fans always loved an Arzt appearance, alas this survivor of Oceanic Flight 815 was not long for the island. Depicted here just moments before his unfortunate explosion, Arzt is shown carrying the dynamite from the Black Rock ship that would lead to his ultimate demise.

James “Sawyer” Ford LOST Bobble Head

The second all new LOST bobble head from Bif Bang Pow! is everyone’s favorite conman, James “Sawyer” Ford. The sarcastic southern gentleman is posed here holding a gun in one hand and the letter he wrote to the original Sawyer in the other. But if The Blot didn’t know better, I might think this was actually the Flash Forward police officer Ford and not scoundrel we all know and love.

How I Met Your Mother Barney Stinson Talking Bobble Head

How I Met Your Mother Barney Stinson Talking Wacky Wobbler Bobble Head by Funko

At some point I have to stop being amazed by how Funko continually takes The Blot’s favorite pop culture icons from television, the movies and comic books and turns them into 3D vinyl figures and bobble heads. Their newest release is this awesome How I Met Your Mother Barney Stinson Talking Wacky Wobbler Bobble Head! It’s going to be legend…wait for it…dairy! Barney has been one of my favorite TV characters of the past 10 years (he’s right up there with LOST’s Sawyer) and as you know I can’t get enough How I Met Your Mother! Heck, I’ve been doing my Barney-ism of the Week feature for the past 5 years now.

CBS actually produced a similar HIMYM Barney Talking Bobble Head about 4 years ago, but it was tiny in comparison to Funko’s new 7” version! The How I Met Your Mother Barney Stinson Talking Bobble Head speaks 5 phrases from the show: “I accept your challenge”; “In my body… Where the Shame Gland should be….There’s a second, awesome gland…. True story”; “This is TOTALLY going in my blog!”; “When I get sad…I stop being sad and be awesome instead…. True story”; “It’s going to be legend...Wait for it…and I hope you are not lactose intolerant… for the second half of that word is… DAIRY!”

The How I Met Your Mother Barney Stinson Talking Wacky Wobbler Bobble Head by Funko is scheduled to go on sale January 24th in stores everywhere! But if you can’t wait that long, suit up and pre-order one today from Entertainment Earth for $12.99 here.

LOST James “Sawyer” Ford & Juliet Burke 8" Mego Style Action Figures

The Blot’s been putting off blogging about Series 3 of Bif Bang Pow!’s line of mego-style 8” LOST action figures for a while now. Why you might ask? Because I’ve been waiting for final pictures of the new figures’ head sculpts. Series 1 and 2 turned out so poorly I wanted to see how Big Bang Pow! corrected things, and it looks like not all that well. It’s such a disappointment too, because their LOST bobble heads are awesome and the idea of LOST Mego style figures had me really excited.

LOST James 'Sawyer' Ford & Juliet Burke 8 Inch Mego Style Action Figures by Big Bang Pow!

The first LOST Series 3 set includes Dharma Security James “Sawyer” Ford and 1970’s Juliet Burke. These two figures are scheduled to come out in July 2011, but I’ve been told if presales aren’t stronger Series 3 may not go into production. So if you love LOST and enjoy these Mego style figures, head over to Entertainment Earth and pre-order them today!

Both LOST Mego style action figures feature fabric clothing and multiple points of articulation, making these 8 inch Saywer and Juliet action figures incredibly lifelike. The figures come individually packaged, but can be preordered as a set for $37.99 from Entertainment Earth here.
