It has taken all of The Blot’s willpower not to spoil this news when I first found out about it over 6 months ago. Pack your bags and book your tickets because Comicpalooza, Texas’ international comic-con, will be hosting three of the biggest names in the designer art toy world in Houston this May! The Sucklord, Scott Tolleson and Nathan Hamill will be traveling to Houston Memorial Day weekend to bring a little artistic culture to the Lone Star State.
It’s so exciting to have my home town convention take an interest in our little niche corner of the art world and I hope by bringing these three talented artists to Houston we’ll be able to take the Texas toys scene to the next level. This is a big toy event for Texas, and I hope to see all of you there (I’ll do my best to tear myself away from changing diapers for at least an hour). I can’t wait to see what Sucklord, Nathan and Scott have in store for us!
Comicpalooza 2013 takes place in Houston, Texas on Memorial Day weekend (May 24-26). Weekend passes are currently available and can be purchased by heading over to the Comicpalooza website.
