Now here’s an announcement The Blot has been anxiously waiting for! Super7 and Secret Base are finally releasing a second Alien Popy vinyl figure after its initial unpainted black colorway sold almost instantly at San Diego Comic-Con 2014. I was so bummed I missed out on this figure at SDCC, but dang this new colorway is pretty sick!
For this release, Alien’s Xenomorph “Big Chap” has been cast in grey pearlescent soft Japanese vinyl and features a black paint rub with a transparent vinyl dome. Standing 4″ tall and featuring multiple points of articulation, this pearlescent grey Alien Popy vinyl figure comes packaged in a full color window box referencing the original Kenner 18″ Alien package.
The Alien invasion begins at noon PDT this Thursday, October 2nd, at the Super7 online store where these awesome figures will retail for $50 each.
