Later today, Nakatomi will debut two prints by legendary comic book artist Paul Pope!!! How cool is that!?! First up is “Kadae”, a 22”x30” signed, numbered and stamped screen print limited to just 250 pieces. The second Paul Pope release today is “Yojimbo – Sunrise Edition”, a 16”×36” signed, numbered, and stamped screen print also limited to 250 pieces.
But that’s not all! Both prints will also have Wood Variants that are limited to just 6 pieces each. These variants are printed on Wood Duplex paper – a superfine and thin sheet of wood, that allows the natural wood grain to show through the ink. All four editions feature numerous split-fountain color blends, and a toned spot-varnish making the colors take on a deep luster in person.
Both of these fantastic Paul Pope prints will be offered in matched number sets (numbers 1-75 of the regular editions) for $85, or individually for $50. Low numbers will go to those that order first! The Wood Variants will retail for $175 each. All four editions will go on sale at 2pm CST today, Friday, June 16th, at the Nakatomi online store.
