Today, Cyclops Print Works will be releasing two amazing movie posters for Disney’s Sleeping Beauty by artist Tom Whalen. These are two screen prints you definitely won’t want to sleep through! As Whalen explained, “Sleeping Beauty has been on my short list of Disney films for quite a while and it’s great to finally have the opportunity to create a screenprint for this all-time classic! For me, the appeal for this one boils down to one thing: a fantastic (maybe the best?) Disney villain who has two distinct, hissably evil looks. Which one to tackle for the print? Both, of course!”
Sleeping Beauty by Tom Whalen is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition on Curious Metallics Ice Silver Paper features 14 colors, is limited to 250 pieces and will retail for $70. The Variant on Stardream Metallic Opal Paper features 15 colors, is limited to 160 pieces and will retail for $90.
