Josh Mayhem is teaming up with Candie Bolton to release an insane new custom Blown Away Series featuring Bolton’s super popular Bake-Kujira sofubi! Seriously, how epic doe these Blown Away Bake-Kujira glow in the dark figures look!?! This super limited series of 5 custom Bake-Kujira figures was inspired by the two artists’ first collaboration project entitled “Candied Mayhem”, featured as part of Josh's solo show at Clutter Gallery last year.
While Mayhem’s signature metallic rainbow streaks on Bolton’s Bake-Kujira create a sense of magic and wonder, the real magic is revealed when the lights go out! That’s because glow in the dark streaks also adorn the original vinyl figures – which were cast in industrial strength glow in the dark soft Japanese vinyl giving – off a truly spectacular glow!
