ESC Toy Takes over NYCC 2012!

When Erick Scarecrow said he had some really exciting things in store for New York Comic-Con 2012 he wasn’t kidding! ESC Toy has 13 NYCC 2012 exclusive vinyl and resin figures and 8 NYCC 2012 exclusive pins being released throughout the weekend, making ESC Toys’ NYCC booth #3015 the place to be! Kissaki has always been The Blot’s favorite ESC Toy figure, and Erick’s got two beautiful hand painted releases: “Purple Lust” and “Cold As Ice” (both limited to just 6 pieces). I’m also digging 2 Tails, which is a hand painted 7” resin figure limited to just 11 pieces. 

ESC Toy also has two Designer Toy Awards exclusives, a Wet-Suit Maria Warhol vinyl figure ($40) and a Tiffani Gold figure that will be included in a DTA Lucky Bag! I seriously can’t get over all of the different releases. Whether you’re a Frombie fan or an Uncharted Drake collector, there’s really something for everyone. Medusa Poison Berry Konstricta Vinyl Figure by Erick Scarecrow

Kissaki's enemy is now deadlier than ever! The all new Medusa Poison Berry Konstricta colorway from ESC Toy is limited to only 100 pieces worldwide, and each vinyl figure comes with an 8”x10” giclee 210GSM signed print featuring brand new artwork from Erick Scarecrow.


The 10" Medusa Poison Berry Konstricta vinyl figure has several points of articulation and comes packaged in blister tray and window box signed by the artist. Less than 100 of these beautiful figures will go on sale this Friday, August 13th, at 12am EST at the ESC eBay store. Each Medusa Poison Berry Konstricta vinyl figure will retail for $80 each.

Medusa Brooklyn Boa Colorway by Erick Scarecrow

Erick Scarecrow's Medusa vinyl figure makes its triumphant return with a brand new colorway! The "Brooklyn Boa" Medusa colorway stands 10 inches tall and is limited to just 200 pieces. What’s really cool about this 10" figure is it’s a combination of vinyl and pvc parts. This is the 2nd figure from the Kissaki series and 2nd Medusa colorway (the "Black Mamba" colorway was released earlier this year).


ESC Toy will be releasing a very limited amount of these Brooklyn Boa Medusa figures ("less than 50pcs") on the official ESC Toy eBay store this Friday, December 11, 2009 at 9am EST. As a special bonus, each figure sold on the ESC Toy eBay store will come signed be Erick and include an 8.5” x 11” giclee print featuring all new Scarecrow art. This limited edition giclee print will be limited to 50pcs.


The Medusa “Brooklyn Boa” colorway goes on sale Friday, Dec. 11th and will retail for $75.00 each.

ESC Toy's 3 New York Comic Con Exclusive Releases by Erick Scarecrow

New York Comic Con 2009 is upon us! We’re just under two weeks away from the Big Apple’s signature event, and the NYCC exclusives The Blot’s seen so far look amazing. This is the second year in a row that ESC Toy’s Erick Scarecrow has launched a brand new figure at NYCC and I think the New York based artist has really outdone himself. His new 10.5 inch Medusa vinyl figure is really quite stunning, and its black and red “Black Mamba” colorway is a great complement to his wicked design. Just look at her shoes! I can’t wait to see what colorway he’s got lined up for his next Medusa release.


But that’s not all, Scarecrow will also be releasing two new colorways of previously released figures exclusive for NYCC 2009. First up is the 3” Medusa Stone Shiitake resin figure. ESC is only making 50 of these hand painted resin figures, so if you are planning on getting a Medusa make sure you get there early so you can also purchase the matching Medusa Stone Shiitake. Just look at the picture below to see how great they go together. Plus, the Medusa Stone Shiitake figure is only $14.99! At that price Scarecrow is basically giving it away, right? That is a ridiculously low price for a hand painted figure.


And last but not least is the third colorway of ESC’s Muraida vinyl figure. The NYCC exclusive Magma colorway is a great complement to Muraida’s crazy look. All of his murky details really shine in this colorway’s bright yellow, orange and red hues. I got to finally see one of the previously released Muraida colorways last week and the figure is even cooler in person than it is in pictures.


All three Erick Scarecrow New York Comic Con exclusive releases can be purchased at the ESC Toy booth #864. The Black Mamba Medusa figure is limited to just 500 pieces and will be sold for $54.99. The Medusa Stone Shiitake is limited to just 50 pieces and will be sold for $14.99, while the Magma Muraida is limited to just 200 pieces and will for $49.99.
