Marvel Comics x Mondo Screen Print Series: Storm by Neal Russler

As it turns out, later today Mondo is releasing not one, but two new posters in its marvelous Marvel Comic Book Screen Print Series! The second print dropping today features the leader of the X-Men (well at least half of them), Storm! This design by Neal Russler is amazing. I can’t get over how detailed this poster is. And I don’t care what anyone says, ‘80s era Mohawk Ororo Munroe still looks hot! This is Russler’s first screen print for Mondo, but he has done a number of awesome originals for their gallery shows, including their current exhibit “75 Years of Batman.”

“Storm” by Neal Russler is an 18”x24” numbered screen print. It has a limited edition run size of 225 pieces and will retail for just $40. It will go on sale at a random time today, Thursday, November 13th, at the Mondo online store.

Marvel Comics x Mondo Screen Print Series: Ghost Rider by Methane Studios

Later today Mondo will be releasing the newest poster in its legendary Marvel Comic Book Screen Print Series, and it’s “Ghost Rider” by Methane Studios! The Blot really likes the spooky, simplistic take on the Spirit of Vengeance that Methane Studios went with for this poster design. It gives off a really old school comic book cover vibe, don’t you think?

“Ghost Rider” by Methane Studios is an 18”x24” signed and numbered screen print. The Standard Edition is limited to 240 pieces and will retail for $40, while the Variant is limited to 115 pieces and will retail for $60. Both versions will go on sale at a random time today, Thursday, November 13th, at the Mondo online store.

Doctor Strange vs. Dormammu Marvel Screen Prints by We Buy Your Kids

Later today Mondo will be releasing a batch of screen prints from We Buy Your Kids' second gallery exhibition, “Harsh Majical”! The solo show was chock full pop culture goodness, but The Blot’s personal favorite were these awesome Marvel screen prints featuring Doctor Strange and his enemy, the mystical entity Dormammu. The Blot absolutely loves the trippy colors of these two designs! The release of these two screen prints couldn’t have been timed more perfectly with the announcement yesterday that Marvel had cast Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange in an upcoming live action film.

Both of We Buy Your Kids’ Marvel screen prints measure 18”x24”, come hand numbered and will retail for $40. “Doctor Strange” is limited to 125 pieces, while “Dormammu” is limited to 110 pieces. Both prints will go on sale at a random time today, Tuesday, October 28th, at the Mondo online store.

Marvel Comics x Mondo Screen Print Series: Carnage by Randy Ortiz

Later today Mondo will be releasing this killer “Carnage” Marvel Comics screen print by Randy Ortiz! Who knew when Mondo originally released Ortiz’ Venom screen print late last year (seen here) that they’d actually commissioned him to create a bad ass Spider-Man Symbiote Print Series!?! After debuting at MondoCon 2014, the newest piece in Mondo’s Marvel Comics Screen Print Series will see a wider release later today at the Mondo online store.

“Carnage” by Randy Ortiz is a 36”x24” hand numbered Marvel screen print and has a limited edition run size of 275 pieces. It will go on sale at a random time today, Thursday, October 9th, for $50 each.

“Night of the Living Deadpool” Marvel Screen Prints by Jay Shaw

Later today Mondo will be releasing its second batch of MondoCon 2014 exclusive screen prints, which includes this awesome set of Night of the Living Deadpool posters by Jay Shaw! Night of the Living Deadpool was a Marvel Comics miniseries released earlier this year, with each issue featuring original cover artwork by Shaw. Mondo has taken those spooky black, white and red covers and blown them up to MondoCon 2014 exclusive prints.

MondoCon 14 Exclusive “Spider-Man vs. Doctor Octopus” Screen Print by Mike Sutfin

Argh, another reason The Blot wishes I was at MondoCon 2014 this weekend in Austin! Mondo will be releasing this epic Spider-Man vs. Doctor Octopus screen print by Mike Sutfin. Sutfin is one of my favorite artists and he freaking killed it on this one, which depicts Spidey battling Doc Ock in Chinatown.  It's been way too long since Mondo's released a new poster in its Marvel Comics Screen Print Series, but I'm glad it's back with an awesome design like this!

The MondoCon 2014 Exclusive “Spider-Man vs. Doctor Octopus” by Mike Sutfin is a 36”x23.25” 12 color screen print, and is limited to just 175 pieces. Don’t worry though, a second edition of this awesome print featuring a different color palate will be released via the Mondo online store at a later date.

Marvel Comics x Mondo Screen Print Series: Elektra by Craig Drake

Mondo will be releasing the newest poster in its epic Marvel Comic Book Screen Print Series today! The Blot’s loved this series so far, but why are there so few posters being released? By my count this is only the 3rd Marvel screen print in the past 8 months. Today’s release is the beautiful “Elektra” by Craig Drake. I seriously love this design, which really highlights Drake’s amazing talent and his ‘80s inspired flair.

Marvel Comics x Mondo Screen Print Series: Venom by Randy Ortiz

Mondo will be releasing the poster in its new Marvel Comic Book Screen Print Series tomorrow on Black Friday, and it’s this awesome “Venom” design by Randy Ortiz! The Blot’s been wondering when Mondo would release its next Marvel screen print. I hope this means they’ll start being released on a more regular basis!

Marvel Comics x Mondo Screen Print Series: Silver Surfer by Kilian Eng

Yesterday, Mondo announced a new collaboration with Marvel Comics to produce a series of screen prints featuring the heroes and villains of the Marvel Universe! Pretty awesome right!?! This will give Mondo a chance to spotlight characters and events not featured in the Marvel films. Since The Blot prefers the comic book universe to the movie universe, these releases are right up my alley. I can’t wait until Mondo releases screen prints of the Infinite Gauntlet or Atlantis Attacks.

The first release in the Marvel Comics x Mondo Screen Print Series is “The Silver Surfer” by Kilian Eng. This space set image is pretty striking don’t you think!?!
