Last week at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Mattel released this epic WWE “Rock 'N Wrestling” Action Figure Box Set featuring “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Captain Lou Albano and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Cyndi Lauper! During Lauper's rise to fame in the early 1980s, WWE's Captain Lou Albano featured prominently in her "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" music video as Cyndi’s burly, bearded, overbearing father, leading to a real-life friendship between the two.

One of The Blot’s favorite parts of San Diego Comic-Con is when Marvel Studios releases concept art teaser movie posters for its upcoming films. This year Marvel released this epic SDCC 2024 Exclusive Deadpool and Wolverine concept art poster by artist Andy Park! It features Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in battle. As Park explained on X, “Every brush stroke on this poster was done with a grin on my face! Leading the Vis Dev team on this film was a dream come true in so many ways. LFG!”
At San Diego Comic-Con 2024 last weekend, Mondo released this epic SDCC 2024 Exclusive Batman Returns poster by designer and illustrator Dan Hipp based on the beloved 1992 DC Comics live action film. Mondo has released a new San Diego Comic-Con 2024 Exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles poster by comic book writer and artist Aaron Conley based on the iconic 1987 animated television series. It is a 24”x36” hand numbered 7 color screen print. The Regular Edition on French Construction White Wash paper is a timed edition available now through 11:59am CT on Monday, July 29th, at MondoShop.com for $80. There is also a Comic-Con Exclusive Variant on French Manila Yellow Paper limited to just 165 pieces, which was sold exclusively at the Mondo SDCC booth #5137 for $100.
