Medicom Toy has announced its third WWE Big Van Vader Sofubi Fighting Series vinyl figure! This time it features an all black outfit with red stripes on the side and “Vader Time” written across his chest. Vader also comes sporting his signature red mask underneath his iconic mastodon mask in metallic black.

The WWE Vader “Vader Time” Edition Vinyl Figure stands 250mm tall and will retail for ¥9,680. It is scheduled to ship in June 2022.

Hulk Hogan First Edition Sofubi Vinyl Figure by Medicom Toy x WWE

Medicom Toy continues its fantastic Sofubi Fighting Series vinyl figure line of professional wrestlers with a new version of the legendary WWE Superstar, Hulk Hogan. Check out the First Edition Hulk Hogan, which features the wrestler’s look from the early 1980s when he traveled to Japan to wrestle for New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) before he became the Hulkamaniac we all remember so fondly and the top star of the then known WWF. This edition features Hogan in black trunks with Ichiban written on them in white, which means number 1, and his right hand making the #1 sign. This new WWE figure stands 250mm tall and will retail for ¥9,680. It is scheduled to ship in March 2022.

Medicom Toy has announced its second WWE Mr. T Sofubi Fighting Series vinyl figure! This time it is based on Mr. T’s appearance at WrestleMania 2 in a boxing match against Rowdy Roddy Piper.

The Mr. T WrestleMania 2 Edition Vinyl Figure is based on his appearance in the very second WrestleMania.  The figure stands 250mm tall and will retail for ¥9,680. It is scheduled to ship in late December 2021.

WWE “Giant Machine” Andre the Giant Sofubi Vinyl Figure by Medicom Toy

Many wrestling fans may not know that for a very brief period of time (1986-87) Andre the Giant wrestled in the WWE under a mask as the Giant Machine! As the story goes, the mask Andre wore was inspired by Japanese wrestler Junji Hirata (aka Super Strong Machine). The gimmick was given to Andre as part of a storyline to help him take time off from wrestling while filming The Princess Bride. This unique, albeit brief, stage of his career has now been immortalized as a killer vinyl figure as part of Medicom Toy’s ongoing WWE Sofubi Fighting Series!

For Medicom’s newest release, Andre the Giant features a head sculpt based on his appearance early in his career and comes wearing red tights. Medicom Toy continues to expand its officially licensed WWE Sofubi Fighting Series, and The Blot is so happy about it! I freaking love these retro stylized figures of WWE and WCW Superstars from the ‘80s and ‘90s. The newest figure in the series is NWO Wolfpac Sting sporting his Crow inspired red face paint and red and black tights. Finally, fans can pit The Franchise vs Hollywood Hogan in an epic sofubi battle! Now if only we could get fellow NWO Wolfpac members Kevin Nash and Scott Hall added to this toy line!

This is Sting’s third figure in the series and features The Icon in his American flag face paint and blue tights. This is Vader’s second colorway and features “The Man Called Vader” in all black tights and mask. He even comes with a black version of his signature mastodon mask!

Medicom has unveiled its eighth wave of WWE Sofubi Fighting Series vinyl figures and this release includes two of the most iconic wrestlers in WWE history, “The Phenom” The Undetaker and “The Eighth Wonder of the World” Andre the Giant! This is actually Medicom’s second Andre figure scheduled for 2016. The first figure (seen here) is based on Andre’s look early in his career, while this new figure is based on his appearance in the ‘80s. And of course it wouldn’t be an Undertaker release without his signature wide brim hat.
