Tesselate’s first release of 2014 has been announced and it’s his adorable 3” Metlex one resin figure! This Blue Edition Metlex One completes Tesselate’s RGB (Red, Green and Blue) Trilogy which begun back in 2007 when Tesselate released the original red version. It’s hard to imagine it’s been 7 years since Metlex One was originally released. Each figure comes in handmade numbered packaging, and includes a 25mm badge and two vinyl stickers.

“Before ED-IT” B5100 Resin Figures by Tesselate

The next generation of Tesselate’s ED-IT DJ resin figures is here! “Before ED-IT” is a new series of handmade resin robots which show what life was like for the ED-IT DJ’s before they became rich and famous performers. First up is “Law of Awareness” B5100 resin figure, which is a warn and beaten version of the DJ we’ve all come to know and love. The 2068 Law of Awareness granted all non-human creations the same right as humans, which changed the world for robots everywhere. The B5100 series (pre 2068) were primarily employed to work on governmental architectural projects as electrical maintenance engineers.

Limited to just 1 piece, the BE_B5100 resin figure stands 6.6” tall and retailed for £70 at the Tesselate online store. Unfortunately for collectors, this awesome figure sold out upon release.

B5100_OQ & D4488 ED-IT DJ Resin Robots by Tesselate

Tesselate is on a tear these days! He’s already back with two new ED-IT DJ resin robots dropping today, B5100_OQ with club desk and D4488. B5100_OQ won the popular game show Open Quality hour in Okinawa, which was key in thrusting the ED-IT DJ crew into the limelight. This colorway is in honor of that momentous occasion! D4488 is all about security and surveillance when the ED-IT DJ’s are on the road. Working closely alongside his colleague B5600sec1, they are often seen scanning the crowds for any trouble, or checking holographic fire exits for faults.

These two new ED-IT DJ Resin Robots by Tesselate are one of a kind and sold exclusively at the Tesselate online store! B5100_OQ with club desk retails for £70, while D4488 retails for £40.

New ED-IT DJ Resin Robots by Tesselate

Tesselate has been busy this past few weeks and has unleashed an army of new ED-IT DJ resin robots upon the world!!! First up is Z7200, a founding member of the ED-IT DJ partnership alongside B5100. Not often seen on stage or in the public eye, they operate behind the scenes and run the sister business of ACCEX, which develop and produce the machines that the crew uses.

Next up is the Z9900_k resin robots, which belong to the IT series of the ED-IT DJ collaboration crew. These wild eyed guys are fresh from the factory floor! Once taken out of production by the humans due to how intense and hyperactive they could be, they were reactivated after the passing of the 2068 Law of Awareness. The Z9900_k series primarily work at Accex Systems creating drum machines, and can sometimes be found on the stage before a ED-IT DJ production working as a their hype crew.

B6400 ED-IT DJ Resin Figures by Tesselate

Tesselate’s newest ED-IT DJ dropped yesterday and it’s pretty freaking sweet! I don’t know what it is about these resin robots, but they always look so awesome. I think it’s got something to do with the resin DJ stand…that definitely helps to boost the figure’s “cool” factor. B6400 is the ED-IT DJ's trusty friend. Once confined to audio management of human concerts and internet broadcasts, these bots joined the ED-IT team and have put their skills to good use. From the initial concept of a new show, through to the final beat produced, B6400 are always watching and tweaking via their expansive plethora of equipment.

“2068 Party” C1200 ED-IT DJ Resin Figure by Tesselate

Tomorrow Tesselate will be releasing the newest figure in his popular line of ED-IT DJ robot resin figures, C1200! Before the 2068 Law of Awareness, which granted all non-human creations the same right as humans, you would have been seen these C1200 bots scuttling around the nearest Spaceport on their low friction, but high torque, wheelbase. They were the backbone of the stellar travel industry, as they moved large shipments from the loading zones into the gargantuan space freighters. Post 2068 many of these mighty bots joined the ED-IT DJ crew as roadies and venue organizers. Now they can be found before and after any performance dismantling and loading the DJ’s huge structures and equipment.

2 Light Crew ED-IT DJ Resin Figures by Tesselate

Tomorrow Tesselate will be releasing two all new ED-IT DJ resin figures! At the core of the visually intense, atmospheric and personal shows that the ED-IT DJ's put on are the B56002LC brothers aka 2 Light Crew. Specialists in light engineering and tertiary reverse segmention, their outer casings are carved directly from an experimental hyper fluorescent engagement material. This specialist component has wireless fibre links to the soundboard which causes them to pulsate and glow in time to the music. It's definitely a sight to be seen!

2 Light Crew (B56002LC_a and B56002LC_b) are two one of a kind resin figures. Each stands 6” tall and goes on sale at 9pm GMT tomorrow, Thursday, February 7th, at the Tesselate online store. These robotic brothers will be sold individually for £60 each.

B5600sec1 ED-IT DJ Resin Figure by Tesselate

Later today Tesselate will be releasing a surprise, one of a kind ED-IT DJ resin figure entitled “B5600sec1”. When performing, the ED-IT DJ's always make sure to have a strong team around them. Their robotic homey B5600sec1 is in charge of security and it's not hard to tell why. His head unit has four visual sensors which enable a full 360 degree view at all times, while being packed with state of the art “BlueZoom” technology which allows for amazing clarity. His exterior casing is also super toughened, which affords him extra protection when any rogue droids have to be ejected from a show.

B5100Jx Blue ED-IT DJ Resin Figure by Tesselate

Tesselate’s ED-IT DJs are back and this time in a killer blue colorway entitled “B5100Jx”. Back in the summer of 2068, the ED-IT DJ's performed a legendary night at the Yes More club in deepest Okinawa with a crowd of over five thousand in attendance. B5100 was running a new firmware which caused an unknown blue coloring update to his outer housing, which he decided to keep for the entirety of his set. This BJ100Jx release is to remember that night as one of the pioneering events in the revolution of non human created electronic music.

The Blot is way late on this awesome release from UK artist Tesselate! The ED-IT DJs are a progression of characters Tesselate created back in 1999. As the story goes, the ED-IT are a group of technology based DJs who have grown into a large force within the underground music scene. Ever since the 2068 “Law of Awareness,” which granted all non-human creations the same right as humans, the group has gained a following and have rapidly taken their performances worldwide. B5100 is one of the joint founders of the ED-IT group, who started his career in the then illegal “fully auto” underground club nights.
