The Muppets Swedish Chef Vinylmation Eachez Vinyl Figure by Disney

This release is a month old and the figure is long sold out, but this new The Muppets Vinylmation vinyl figure was just too awesome to ignore! What can I say, The Blot’s a sucker for cool Muppets toys. To commemorate the Disney Food and Wine Festival 2015, the House of Mouse released The Muppets Swedish Chef Vinylmation Eachez vinyl figure. An Eachez release is when Disney releases just one single design blind box style with a very rare chase variant randomly inserted. The standard design is the Swedish Chef, while the rare chase design is the Swedish Chef covered in food after completing his latest masterpiece in the kitchen.

The Muppets Swedish Chef Vinylmation vinyl figure stands 3” tall and will retail for $16.95 per blind box. These fun figures was released on Friday, September 25th, at Epcot in Walt Disney World.

The Muppets Disney Vinylmation Series 3

Man, The Blot has gotten super behind on my Vinylmation coverage! It turns out The Muppets Vinylmation Series 3 by Disney has been out in stores for a really long time. Oh well, better late than never! Designed by artist Monty Maldovan, The Muppets Series 3 is really great because it showcases some of the 2nd and 3rd tier Muppets that don’t usually get a lot of love. This 3” series includes Animal, Beauregard, Crazy Harry, Gonzo the Great, Reporter Kermit, Mahna Mahna, Newman, Captain Sam, Snowth, Miss Liberty Piggy, Uncle Deadly and which mystery chase which is without a doubt The Blot’s favorite figure in the set. The chaser for this is comes straight from the hit live action film The Muppets, Walter!

Sold blind box style, collectors can now purchase The Muppets Vinylmation Series 3 at Walt Disney World, Disneyland and DisneyStore.com for $12.95 per figure.

The Muppets Disney Vinylmation Series 2

Now this is the Disney Vinylmation series The Blot’s been waiting for! After months of teasing a second release, Disney finally unveiled the line-up of The Muppets Vinylmation Series 2. Best of all, it includes all five original members of The Electric Mayhem and the Pigs In Space crew! The Electric Mayhem was my favorite band as a little kid, and I love seeing Dr. Teeth, Janice, Floyd, Zoot and Animal make their Vinylmation debut.

The Muppets Disney Vinylmation Series 2 features eleven 3 inch blind box vinyl figures and four 9 inch window box figures. The 3” figures include Pepe the Prawn, Scooter, Dr. Teeth, Janice, Floyd Pepper, Zoot, Captain Link Hogthrob, First Mate Piggy, Dr. Strangepork, Penguin & Lew Zealand. Yes, you read that right...Disney even included the boomerang fish throwing Muppet Lew Zealand in Series 2. All we need now are Beauregard and Crazy Harry in Series 3 and The Blot will be in Muppet heavan!

The Muppets Disney Vinylmation Series 2 9” figures include Kermit with 3-D glasses, Animal with a drum stick, Gonzo with a 3” Camilla the chicken figure, and Sam the Eagle. All four of these figures look great, but The Blot especially loves the Gonzo/Camilla 2-pack. I’m definitely going to have try and hunt that set down. Hopefully there will be a Series 3 so we can get 3” versions of Animal and Gonzo.

The Muppets Vinylmation Series 2 went on sale April 15th at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, but there’s been no word on whether this series will be available online or at Disney Stores across the US. The 9” figures have not been released yet, but they should be hitting store shelves sometime soon.

Disney Vinylmation The Muppets Series 1

While there’s been a lot of mixed reaction to Disney’s limited edition Vinylmation blind boxed figures in the designer vinyl community, this is one Vinylmation series The Blot can really get behind. After the popularity of Vinylmation Park Series 1's Kermit the Frog figure comes a series dedicated solely to The Muppets! The Vinylmation Muppets Series 1 includes twelve 3” characters, including one hard to find mystery chase.



The Vinylmation Muppets Series 1 includes Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Rowlf the Dog, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Beaker, Rizzo the Rat, The Swedish Chef, Sweetums, Statler and Waldorf, Bean Bunny and a mystery chase. The Muppets Series 1 chase figure has been confirmed to be a 55th Anniversary tuxedo wearing Kermit the Frog figure. If I could change one thing about this series, I would remove Sweetums and turn him into a 9” Vinylmation figure. He’s always been one of the biggest Muppets and a 3 inch figure just doesn’t do him justice.



Disney’s Vinylmation Muppets Series was released exclusively at Walt Disney World Resort on February 8th. This collection will be released at the Disneyland Resort sometime in March. These Resort exclusives are sure to be a hit with collectors and fans alike, so be sure to grab a few blind boxes when you have the chance, because you never know when these might sell out!
