Today, Bottleneck Gallery is collaborating with artist Akiko Stehrenberger to release an epic, officially licensed movie poster for Thunderbolts*! As BNG explained, “Akiko’s art and poster work walks a perfect tightrope between conceptually clever and boldly brilliant. We’ve collected and admired Akiko’s work for years, and we’re proud to present her newest print for Marvel’s recent fan-favorite flick, Thunderbolts*. Without going too deep into spoiler territory, Akiko’s print ties together the film’s main themes, isolation and the void of loneliness, as well as the story’s main villain in a simple, yet striking image, that hits as hard as the film.” Here’s hoping we get more Thunderbolts art in the near future!
