Today, Bottleneck Gallery is collaborating with artist Akiko Stehrenberger to release an epic, officially licensed movie poster for Thunderbolts*! As BNG explained, “Akiko’s art and poster work walks a perfect tightrope between conceptually clever and boldly brilliant. We’ve collected and admired Akiko’s work for years, and we’re proud to present her newest print for Marvel’s recent fan-favorite flick, Thunderbolts*. Without going too deep into spoiler territory, Akiko’s print ties together the film’s main themes, isolation and the void of loneliness, as well as the story’s main villain in a simple, yet striking image, that hits as hard as the film.” Here’s hoping we get more Thunderbolts art in the near future!

NYCC 2019 Exclusive Thunderbolts #127 Venom Variant Screen Print by Jock x Grey Matter Art x Marvel Comics

Grey Matter Art will be at New York Comic Con 2019 this weekend where they will be releasing a ton of epic, officially licensed exclusives at their NYCC booth #954. One of those exclusives is this haunting screen print of artist Jock’s Venom variant cover artwork for Thunderbolts #127. It is a 24”x36” hand numbered 6 color Marvel screen print. It is limited to 125 pieces and will retail for $50.

NYCC Exclusive Marvel Dorbz Vinyl Figures by Funko - “Stealth Armor” Iron Man & “Thunderbolt” Punisher

Funko is releasing two Marvel Dorbz variant figures exclusively at New York Comic Con 2015, the blue “Stealth Armor” Iron Man and the black and red “Thunderbolt” Punisher (based on Frank Castle’s time spent as a member of The Thunderbolts).

SDCC 13 Exclusive Thunderbolts Marvel Legends Action Figure Box Set

One of the more surprising San Diego Comic-Con 2013 exclusives to be announced by Hasbro is a 5 piece Marvel Legends box set featuring Marvel’s Thunderbolts, a group made up primarily of reformed super villains. Hasbro’s 6” Marvel Legends action figure line has had a huge renaissance lately with the release of multiple lines in stores after a lengthy hiatus.

The San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive Thunderbolts Marvel Legends Action Figure Box Set was inspired comic book artist Kev Walker’s run on the book during Marvel’s “Heroic Age” and includes Avengers member Luke Cage and reformed criminals Crossbones, Ghost, Moonstone and Judith Chambers (aka Satana Hellstrom). What’s really exciting about this release is that it marks the first ever toys of many of these characters.
