Diamond Select Toys will be having a massive presence at New York Comic Con 2018 next week. Along with shelves of products for sale, a panel, two signings and an exclusive, Diamond Select Toys will also have cases of advance prototypes on display. DST’s big New York Comic Con 2018 exclusive is this awesome Battle Beasts Desmodius Minimates mini figure, a fearsome black bat armed with a sword and glaive.

The New York Comic Con 2018 Exclusive Battle Beasts Desmodius Minimates Figure stands 2” tall, featuring 14 points of articulation, and is fully interchangeable with all Minimates mini figures. It will come packaged in a clear polybag with hangtag, and sell for $6 exclusively at the Diamond Select Toys NYCC booth #1644.

Indie Comic Book Heroes Minimates Series 1 by Diamond Select Toys

Straight from the world of your local comic shop, Diamond Select Toys is set to release the first wave of its new Comic Book Heroes Minimates Series based on some of the most popular independent titles on the market today! Comic Book Heroes Minimates Series 1 includes four different 2 packs pairing up heroes and heroines from six different comic books.

From Image Comics, Cassie Hack from Hack/Slash teams up with Em Cypress from Revival, while the CHEW set features FDA agent Tony Chu with his cyborg partner John Colby and the fighting rooster Poyo! SDCC 12 Exclusive Battle Beasts Minimates 2 Pack & Comic Book Variant Cover

After a very long hiatus, the Battle Beasts are back! The Blot was a huge fan of Hasbro’s Battle Beasts mini figures from the late ‘80s, so you know I'm super excited for the return of this toy line. This time around Battle Beasts are really just animal Minimates, but ‘80s nostalgia is still in full effect with this release. And while the first series of Battle Beasts Minimates won't be out until this fall, Diamond Select Toys is offering fans a preview set that's only available at San Diego Comic-Con 2012!

The San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive Battle Beasts Minimates includes two fully painted figures: the heroic ram Vorin (star of the upcoming comic book series from IDW), and an all-new villainous dragonfly character, Zik!
