Craig Gleason’s The Ghoul is back in two very cool new Solar Glow Editions by Justin Ishmael! These are cast in a UV reactive soft Japanese vinyl that actually changes color when they hit sunlight. The outside almost glow in the dark colored The Ghouls in the image above are what these figures look like before hitting the sun, which then transform into either orange vinyl or purple vinyl.

Yesterday, Justin Ishmael posted a photo on his Instagram feed of the very first test pull of his upcoming sofubi release, Craig Gleason’s The Ghoul! Produced in Japan by Grody Shogun and cast in real soft Japanese vinyl, The Blot is all kinds of excited to see what Justin and Craig do with this exciting new character. It’ll make a fantastic addition to The Ghoul collection of t-shirts, enamel pins and stickers already available at Justin Ishmael’s online store. Craig Gleason’s The Ghoul T-Shirt Collection by Justin Ishmael

Justin Ishmael has been working on some really incredible projects since leaving his role as creative director of Mondo. While most of those projects are still in their infancy, Ishmael has launched a killer new t-shirt collection featuring Craig Gleason’s The Ghoul (with a killer looking sofubi vinyl figure to follow)! What’s really interesting about this collaboration is that Justin was introduced to Gleason and his awesome artwork through Instagram.

Although The Ghoul looks like an old school B movie monster from the ‘60s, Gleason actually designed him in early 2016. As he explained, The Ghoul is “like a mix of Nosferatu, a Metaluna Mutant and an Ooze-It.” What’s not to love about that!?! Craig Gleason’s The Ghoul T-Shirt Collection features two different ghoulish designs in a variety of black and white t-shirts ($25), a ragland baseball t-shirt ($32) and a black crewneck sweatshirt ($40).
