The Hundreds by D*Face T-Shirt

To commemorate the opening of D*Face’s latest solo art exhibit, Happy Never After, at Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles this weekend, The Hundreds has teamed up with the legendary UK street artist on an epic new t-shirt! “The Hundreds by D*Face” t-shirt is an awesome mash-up of The Hundreds’ mascot Adam Bomb with D*Face’s signature creation, D*Dog. What a fun and surprising collaboration!

When asked about the t-shirt, D*Face explained “I’ve always been a fan of the Hundreds. I’ve always seen Adam Bomb, and been like, “It’s made to have a pair of wings on it.” It’s so perfect for it. So obviously when that connection was made, I was like, “Of course. I know exactly what I’m going to do.” Take the two most iconic things that we both have, [Adam Bomb and D*Dog], and make a new thing from it. It has to be right for that character. Everyone’s like, “Oh, do the D*Dog.”’ I’ve moved away from that. When I bring it back, it’s because it’s got a real good reason to come back.”

“Face to *Face” Screen Print by OBEY Giant x D*Face

Last night D*Face had a release party for his book The Art of D*Face: One Man and His Dog at the Stephen Webster boutique in LA. Shepard Fairey wrote an essay for the book and the two artists designed a collaborative print in honor of the event. The Blot was seriously drooling over this beautiful “Face to *Face” 3 color (metallic silver, red and black) screen print the minute I saw it. While not an intricate design, I love the merging of these two iconic street artists’ signature creations (and styles) in one beautiful print. Sadly, The Blot had zero chance to get my hands on one as they were only available at the event.

The OBEY Giant x D*Face “Face to *Face” screen print measures 18”x24”, comes signed by both artists and is limited to just 200 pieces. Those lucky enough to attend the book launch party at Stephen Webster last night could pick this epic print up for just $80.  Fans can pick up the new book The Art of D*Face: One Man and His Dog now from Amazon for just $20.65 here.
