For the fourth year in a row, Designer Con will be releasing an exclusive Be@rbrick Artist Series Box Set by Medicom Toy! Kevin Smith x The Hundreds Apparel Collection

How in the world did The Blot miss the news that on 4/20 The Hundreds released a killer apparel collaboration with filmmaker Kevin Smith based on his View Askew universe!?! The Blot is a HUGE fan of all of Smith’s View Askew films, including Clerks, Mallrats and Chasing Amy, and those films were a big part of my childhood / college life.  The Hundreds definitely went all out on this release.

Fans of Jay and Silent Bob will definitely love this Kevin Smith x The Hundreds Collection. It’s got Smith’s signature jorts and jerseys, and tons of t-shirts and hats based on his films and their cast of characters.  The only sad news to report is that the collection is 100% sold out on TheHundreds.com.  Thankfully, The Blot went to JayandSilentBob.com and saw they have a number of the hats, tees and hoodie from this collection still in stock. The Blot’s been a hardcore t-shirt collector for most of my life, and the obsession definitely began thanks to the Hard Rock Cafe. Every city I visited I had to stop by their local HRC and pick up a city specific Cafe T-Shirt, Save the Planet T-Shirt, or the ever evolving City Tee. Bronson Black Edition & Grey Edition Vinyl Figures by Mister Cartoon x The Hundreds

After debuting at Designer Con 2018 last weekend with a convention exclusive colorway, The Hundreds and Mister Cartoon have released the other two colorways of their awesome new vinyl figure, Bronson! Designed by the West Coast legend, Bronson stands 8” tall and has eyes that are made from special material used in vehicle backlights, modeled to look like Mister Cartoon's favorite car's tail lights, the 1959 Chevy El Camino. How freaking rad is that!?!

The Black Edition Bronson is a The Hundreds exclusive sold here, while the Grey Edition Bronson can only be purchased at Mister Cartoon’s online store. Each colorway is limited to just 200 pieces and retails for around $120. Bronson includes a colorway specific accessory and comes packaged in a full color window box perfect for display.

The Hundreds x BIGFOOT The Original Monster Truck Apparel Capsule Collection

Earlier this week, The Hundreds released a killer collaboration with the world’s most popular monster truck, BIGFOOT!!! The Hundreds x BIGFOOT Collection is inspired by the ingenuity and high-octane spirit of the monster truck arena and the creator of the genre, Bob Chandler. Chandler first created BIGFOOT, The Original Monster Truck, in the mid-1970s and this amazing piece of machinery remains a truly independent family operation run by Bob, his wife, and children.

The Hundreds by Usugrow Apparel Capsule Collection

It's hard to believe that Tokyo based artist Usugrow released his first collab with The Hundreds way back in 2005. Now in their 15th year, The Hundreds is nostalgic for their early years and the collabs that helped make their brand what it is today. So in order to pay tribute to its beginnings, The Hundreds wanted to return to that first collab with Usugrow, and work with him to update and expand it for a our global streetwear audience in 2018.

“The Hundreds by Usugrow” is a Los Angeles centric collaboration, with all pieces featuring both contrast embroidery and gold, silver, black, and white screen printed artwork by Usugrow, showcasing the artist’s uniquely sharp linework. Usugrow is a self-taught artist, known for his fine lettering and illustration style, influenced by traditional Japanese art and calligraphy, and punk and skateboarding culture.

The Hundreds by D*Face T-Shirt

To commemorate the opening of D*Face’s latest solo art exhibit, Happy Never After, at Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles this weekend, The Hundreds has teamed up with the legendary UK street artist on an epic new t-shirt! “The Hundreds by D*Face” t-shirt is an awesome mash-up of The Hundreds’ mascot Adam Bomb with D*Face’s signature creation, D*Dog. What a fun and surprising collaboration!

When asked about the t-shirt, D*Face explained “I’ve always been a fan of the Hundreds. I’ve always seen Adam Bomb, and been like, “It’s made to have a pair of wings on it.” It’s so perfect for it. So obviously when that connection was made, I was like, “Of course. I know exactly what I’m going to do.” Take the two most iconic things that we both have, [Adam Bomb and D*Dog], and make a new thing from it. It has to be right for that character. Everyone’s like, “Oh, do the D*Dog.”’ I’ve moved away from that. When I bring it back, it’s because it’s got a real good reason to come back.”

Guns N’ Roses Use Your Illusion I Inspired “Rosey” T-Shirt by The Hundreds

The Hundreds recently released a new crop of t-shirts, including this awesome Guns N’ Roses inspired design entitled “Rosey”! Based on the iconic cover to GnR’s 1991 album Use Your Illusion I, the “Rosey” t-shirt portrays a man checking his social media while the rest of his crew wait outside the Grand. What’s cool about this new t-shirt by The Hundreds is that it gives the classic Guns N’ Roses album cover (originally designed by artist Mark Kostabi and featuring details from Raphael's painting The School of Athens) a modern context.

The Hundreds x Pepsi T-Shirt Collection

The Blot has to hand it to The Hundreds, they never cease to amaze me with their out of left field collaborations! At least The Hundreds’ newest release, the Pepsi T-Shirt Collection, ties-in nicely with their previously released Back to the Future collection. While I’ve never been a Pepsi drinker, you can’t deny their impact on popular culture. So it’s fitting that The Hundreds chose to draw inspiration from the soft drink brand’s iconic advertising – from the ‘40s through the 2000s – for its new Pepsi Collection. There’s even a killer Back to the Future II design!

As Bobby Hundreds explained, part of the reason Pepsi’s had such an impact on our world is the “iconic stars that they [have] incorporated into advertising, their pin-up posters, [and] even on the cans themselves.” Be it Madonna in the ‘80s, Cindy Crawford in the ‘90s, or Britney Spears in the 2000s, Pepsi has consistently photographed pop culture icons who exemplify the decade they’re from. So The Hundreds set out to recreate Pepsi’s advertising campaigns by recreating their most memorable photos with the help of model Denise Schaefer.

Back to the Future x The Hundreds “Back to the Hundreds” T-Shirt Collection

To celebrate the Back to the Future 30th Anniversary (Bobby Hundreds’ favorite film), The Hundreds is releasing a new BttF inspired clothing collection and releasing it on October 21, 2015 - the exact day Michael J. Fox’ Marty McFly travels to the future in Back to the Future II! For this collection, entitled Back to the Hundreds, The Hundreds asks the question, what if the clothes that Marty wears in Back to the Future II were actually by The Hundreds?

As The Hundreds explained, “Incorporating contemporary design and innovative materials, we honed in on specific iconic pieces from the films for this collaboration – looks that we could reappropriate into The Hundreds’ context – like the unmistakable red vest (which is streamlined for 2015) and the self-drying jacket from the future (which utilizes Dri-fit and our Nano Coat technology to actually work). We also involved defining aspects of the trilogy onto a series of graphic t-shirts, pullovers, and a crew neck sweatshirt.”  We can all find out more about this exciting collection this Wednesday when it drops at The Hundreds online store.

Ever since Clerks hit theaters back in 1994, The Blot’s been a diehard Kevin Smith fan. So when I saw The Hundreds released this hilarious “Buddy Satan” t-shirt recently I knew I had to have it. It’s for those days when Buddy Jesus, from Kevin Smith’s 1999 comedy Dogma, just isn't there for you! That’s because you can always turn to your good friend, Buddy Satan. What a brilliant idea!!!
