Flynamic Duo Batboy & Sparrow ’66 & ’89 Edition Vinyl Figure Sets by Hebru Brantley

Yesterda, Hebru Brantley released his newest Flyboy vinyl figures. Inspired by DC Comics’ Batman and Robin, meet Hebru’s Flynamic Duo – Batboy and Sparrow! The Flynamic Duo were released in a ’66 Colorway inspired by Adam West’s costume in the original Batman ’60s television show, and a ’89 Colorway inspired by Michael Keaton’s costume in the 1989 Batman feature film directed by Tim Burton.

Batboy stands 16” tall, while Sparrow is 13” tall. The ’66 Flynamic Duo is limited to 325 sets, while the ’89 Flynamic Duo is limited to 225 sets. Both colorways went on sale at HebruBrantley.com/hebrubrandstore for $1,200 per set and instantly sold out (just like the vibrantly colored OG Edition did late last year).

Hebru Brantley x Joe Freshgoods “Power of the Black Business” Flyboy T-Shirt

This summer Hebru Brantley will be teaming up with Joe Freshgoods to release a full clothing capsule collection. But until then, Hebru and Joe have teamed up to release one tee, entitled “Power of the Black Business”, featuring Brantley’s signature character, Flyboy. They describe the t-shirt as a wearable movie trailer for the upcoming collab. This super limited t-shirt was released yesterday, Saturday, February 24th, at the Fat Tiger Workshop and online at JoeFreshgoods.com. Sadly for most of us, this killer new Flyboy t-shirt sold out almost immediately upon release. Stay tuned for the full collection later this year!

Wonder Woman “Wonder” Lil Mama Screen Print by Hebru Brantley

Check out Hebru Brantley’s newest comic book inspired screen print, “Wonder”! This exciting new print features one of Hebru’s signature characters, Lil Mama, dressed up as the DC Comics’ Wonder Woman. Does Lil Mama look fierce as an Amazon Princess or what!?! Released in conjunction with Avenue des Arts Gallery in Hong Kong as part of Brantley’s solo show “Lord of the Flys”, a limited number of prints were also made available at the Hebru Brand Store.

Wonder by Hebru Brantley is a 22”x30” signed and numbered Wonder Woman screen print on Mohawk Superfine UltraWhite 160 lb cover paper with deckled edges. The black Regular Edition ($450) is an 18 color screen print limited to 120 pieces, while the pink Variant Edition ($550) is a 19 color screen print limited to just 20 pieces. Sadly, both editions are now sold out.

The Blot has been drooling over this new Flyboy print by Steve Seeley ever since I first saw it on Instagram. Set to be released exclusively at New York Comic Con 2017, this epic Flyboy screen print is Seeley’s take on Hebru Brantley’s Flyboy mythos filtered through his favorite comic book artists. Can you identify all of the influences Seeley included in his epic design based on the Black Boy Fly comic book written by Hebru and Seeley?

Yesterday at C2E2 2017, Hebru Brantley and Pop !nk Editions released the third colorway of the artist’s popular Flyboy vinyl figure! Fans around the globe were salivating at the news that Hebru’s signature creation, Flyboy, was returning in a super slick monotone colorway with mellow yellow accents. The C2E2 2017 Exclusive Gray Scale Edition Flyboy comes packaged in a full color box and is limited to just 50 pieces. The Blot assumes this super limited edition release is now sold out, but keep your eyes peeled to the Hebru Brantley online store in case any figures become available online after the convention.

Wolverine “The First Appearance” Marvel Screen Print by Hebru Brantley x Line Dot Editions

Later today, Line Dot Editions will be releasing the fourth print in Hebru Brantley’s Marvel Comics inspired New Mytho Screen Print Series! To commemorate the release of the upcoming X-Men movie Logan, Brantley has reimagined Wolverine in his signature new mythology style. “The First Appearance” is a killer 11 color hand pulled signed and numbered 18”x24” screen print on Mohawk superfine ultrawhite 160lb cover paper with deckled edges.  It is limited to just 50 pieces and retails for $285.

Line Dot Editions will also be releasing two super rare variants: a monotone Feral (The Ghost Boy) Edition and a brown suit Remembering Silvestri Edition. The Feral (The Ghost Boy) colorway is limited to 10 pieces and will retail for $525, while the Remembering Silvestri Edition is limited to 25 pieces and retails for $425. Lil Mama Resin Figure by Hebru Brantley

This Friday, Chicago based artist Hebru Brantley will be releasing his second resin figure! A companion piece to his previously released Flyboy, Lil Mama is a 13” resin and PVC figure with a copper center. Like Flyboy, the yellow-goggled girl hero Lil Mama (aka Flygirl) pays homage to the World War II Tuskegee Airmen. This awesome new release will be available in two colorways: Matte and Candy Paint Editions.

Both Lil Mama resin figure colorways goes on sale this Friday, February 10th, at the Hebru Brand Store for $175 each. Then on Saturday, February 11th, Line Dot Editions will hold a very special Lil Mama release party from 1-2pm. Best of all, Hebru Brantley will be there to sign any figures purchased from the gallery. Pretty rad, right!?!

“Beyond Kirby” Flyboy & Lil Momma Screen Prints by Hebru Brantley

In anticipation of Aqua Art Miami kicking off next week, Vertical Gallery has teamed up with POP!NK Editions to release two new screen prints by Hebru Brantley! These “Beyond Kirby” Edition Flyboy and Lil Momma screen prints are 11 and 12 color hand pulled prints on Mohawk Superfine UltraWhite 160 lb cover.
